Scouser_Dave wrote:Really pissed off with our defence at the moment. Kelly dropped as soon as Johnson comes back, Carra not budging and holding players like Coates back. It's clear that our best back four is | Kelly - Agger - Skrtel - Enrique | yet we still stick with dross like Johnson and Carragher because they are senior players in the starting eleven
Considering that Kelly is not even on the bench, I'd say there's nothing wrong with Johnson starting.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I actually agree with you, and i know we should only think of this game but maybe Kelly will be a better optiion against Stoke in the League cup. And well Johnson needs games and just coming back at Home to Norwich will be a better game to start than away to Stoke. But then again maybe im wrong, only time will tell.Scott wrote:It's Norwich at Anfield, Kenny has obviously gone for a line up with a big attacking presence. Johnson is more dangerous than Kelly going forward. Kelly might need a break anyway.
I'm more surprised about Carroll remaining on the bench and Bellamy starting. Not got a problem with it at all, but Carroll must be gutted. Scores a goal against Everton away, then straight back onto the bench. But then again, we don't see what goes on in training. Johnson and Bellamy may have been impressing Kenny all week, whilst Kelly and Carroll may be going through a patch of rusty football.
I'm happy with the team anyway.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Think Cadbury's comments on Suarez' erratic finishing has been justified in the first half. Some shocking attempts on goal to be fair.

He also hit the post and had great saves keep him out.

Fair enough on them, but the others should have been put away. If we aren't gonna take our chances then we will get punished in games and struggle to make the top four.

Agreed. We should be burying Norwich. Hopefully Suarez bags a couple this half

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Fuck it. Fuck Suarez's finishing and fuck this season. We're not going to get fourth place. Same old story even though we beat the big teams, by failing to beat minnows we aren't making any progress on that. No fucking point to this anymore, it's just going to be same old same old until the belated surge at the end of the season.

That's why we're not in the Champions League. We draw against minnows.

Pepe, if you come out, you HAVE to get the ball. Or stay in your net.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
We think we've got the whole package in Suarez, he should have the whole package, but he doesn't. Just our luck to get a top class player who can't finish for shit. Expected to draw as soon as we went ahead, we just do our best not to capitalise on that advantage.

Carragher was beaten in the air anyways.
Pepe should have done better too.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I'd say we were unlucky but it's just not on. We had 23 fucking chances on goal and Suarez has had more chances in a match than any other player in the premier league so far. Why cant we beat shitters like these at home when they have fucking ex plumbers in their starting 11!?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Not to mention, having minnows produce the defensive and keeping performances of their fucking lives against us...just right up our street. Then there's the spectacular last minute chance which is either brilliantly saved or horribly missed. Fuck everything.

What do you mean "No fucking point to this anymore".. Like Liverpool should just give up as a club?Eternal Witcher wrote:Fuck it. Fuck Suarez's finishing and fuck this season. Suarez is phenomenal, he beats players like they aren't there, his finishing has been weird this season but my lord was he unlucky today, amazing saves.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I think Liverpool should just give up as a club. That seems like a brilliant idea, very logical.
Let's do this.
