Alan knew what was going on back then, you don't. You just see shit on the internet/tv like where Newcastle finished and who they signed and try and tell Alan whats what. In reality you were sucking your mothers tits at that time while Alan was living football day in day out.Steadman wrote:Why would I need to write that while discussing things that happened while I was young? Everyone can see my age, they would obviously put two and two together and work out I have either read about it or heard about it in some way by their common sense.
Why does it matter if Alan is older than me? Everything I said in my post is common knowledge to Newcastle fans and anyone who has had the time to look back at previous Premier League seasons.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
You act as though I haven't talked to anyone older than 20 on the subject of football before, I know Newcastle fans who witnessed that season and they have said that Dalglish made some bad decisions while with Newcastle. It is also widely recognized that his stint with Newcastle was his worst during his managerial career so just because I didn't witness it first hand does not mean what I said was false.
Your last sentence was completely irrelevant as well.

Steadman wrote:He chose to sell key players like Ginola, Ferdinand and Asprilla and replaced them with aging players like Barnes, Rush etc. It was not really the most wise thing to do. His decision to sell Ginola was purely down to him not liking Ginola, Newcastle fans wanted him to stay as they saw his undeniable talent, and then had to watch Ginola win Player of the Year awards with Tottenham.Alan wrote:
Kenny Dalglish had to count on players who where past their best, he brought in Ian Rush and John Barnes who were at the end of their careers and never got the cash that Keegan had to spend. And when at Newcastle in the first season, Alan shearer missed most of the season through injury, and Les Ferdinand and Peter Beardsley had been sold. John Barnes had to play upfront because of the Shearer injury and the lack of strikers.
He still managed to spend £20+ million in his season with Newcastle.
Funny that Asprilla was the man that scored a hat trick in the win against Barcelona. And i dont think Kenny really wanted to have sold Ferdinand, especially if he new Shearer was going to miss most of the season. Im not claiming Dalglish never made mistakes at Newcastle and he is far from perfect, but that fact that Keegan left Newcastle because he wanted to supposedly bring in certain players proved to me something was not right behind the scene's at Newcastle.

Is he back again? I wonder if his personality in real life is this obsessive? I'd be scared to be the people who are "close to him".

Stoke home or away? If that's at Stoke's place I'd much rather watch your game.

I don't really fancy watching us struggle to break down Stoke tbh. A draw would be a good result.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
My cousin is down in Liverpool at the moment, he is outside Melwood and has got some pictures of Suarez and Carragher coming out of Melwood. I was trying to get tickets for a game at Anfield but Swansea and Manchester City are sold out, but i was told to phone back to see if there are any available for the Q.P.R game.

Would not be a bad results but dont really want Extra time. But if we won it on Penalties and went through i would not complain.
