Good luck against County by the way. Hate Allen with a passion.
Hopefully we can beat them! I am looking forward to the away game in April.

He ruled himself out of the Forest job last week. Like we would consider him anyway Laughing

This is the funniest article that I've read in a while rofl

Football chiefs are investigating an official racism complaint about star Craig Bellamy after he was allegedly called a 'sheep-sh***er' during a match.

The Wales and Liverpool striker was allegedly the victim of 'inhuman, degrading and vile' taunts by rival fans.

It is alleged that the calls of 'sheepsh***er' came from the terraces at Brighton and Hove Albion's ground during the crunch match on September 21.

The club could be fined if it is found not to have properly controlled the behaviour of fans.

In 2005 a Hearts football fan, Kevin Bonar, shouted insults at Bellamy during a match between Hearts and Celtic, who Bellamy was playing for at the time.

Bonar was found guilty of calling the 63-capped player a 'wee, little Welsh b******'.

He was convicted of racially aggravated breach of the peace at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was fined £250.

I love how they make such a big deal of this. Whenever we played Swansea, Wrexham, Cardiff they'd be 100's of us taunting them by calling them sheep shaggers. Swansea fans even sang to us "1-0 to the sheep shaggers when they took the lead against us". Also, the Welsh are the same race as the English - britons Laughing.

Hereford United director of football, Gary Peters, has stressed the importance of making Edgar Street a noisy fortress.

"I thought the supporters that travelled to Swindon were magnificent," Peters told the OS.

"They made a noise, they made a difference, they made the players fight for everything, but we need them more at home.

"Edgar Street needs to be a place alive with Hereford noise, it needs to
be a place where other teams fear to come, it needs to be a place where
we are the masters and we need the supporters more than ever. We need
them to raise the roof when we score.

Peters has brought our fight back not worthy

    Buzzing for Saturday!

    Non football league related.

An update on how Guernsey FC are doing in the combined counties league.

They are currently top of the table generating 31 points from their opening 12 games. Their average crowd is also pretty decent with 1496 fans being the clubs average attendance.

They are also currently unbeaten at home generating these results:

    Guernsey 5-0 Knaphill
    Guernsey 3-0 Warlingham
    Guernsey 5-0 Worcester Park
    Guernsey 9-0 Sheerwater.

Looks like their going to have a very successful season.

I wonder how many teams in League One and League Two lost players during the international break? I believe a decent amount of guys play for smaller island nations and such while also in the already mentioned leagues. Was any one team hurt much more than any others?

The Le Tissier's are the top dogs at Guernsey FC aren't they?

Can't wait for them to start climbing up the ladder.

Cheltenham' reserves have beaten Torquay's reserve team 9-1 today. We were 7-1 up after 30 minutes as well Laughing

Just shows how strong our squad is as a whole (and how crap torquay's reserves are).

Laughing, Think you have a chance of going up?

Our prices in league 1 are getting beyond a joke! Luckily i can still get under 16s tickets so its 12 quid for me at Oldham but 23 for adults and its 23 on Saturday and 25 if you don't play at the club!

I'm quietly confident that we will have a successful season but it all depends on our consistency. I know last season we faded away at January but we have a lot more depth in our current squad. Just for example, Daryl Duffy has scored 5 goals in 7 starts for us this season yet is struggling to get into the team due to the form of James Spencer. If nothing happens to Marlon Pack in January then I'd say we'd have a decent chance of making the play offs. Best midfielder we've had since Grant McCann.

Also I do agree with you that tickets for league 1/2 football are ridiculously over priced. Before teams play at Whaddon Road, there's usually lots of comments on their message board saying "I was planning on going, but after seeing the prices of £21 a ticket Cheltenham can get stuffed" Sad.

I'd hate to see what the prices of football will be in the next 10 years

I am back for good shifty

We have signed Michael Kightly on loan from Wolves for a month.

Not too much of a fan of being used to get a player fit.....but it improves our relations with Wolves and if he turns out to be good for us then that's good....if not then we don't have to play him. Win win.

Crystal Palace at home on Saturday....they have been doing quite well but I still expect us to go away with at least a point...
