Isn't he the one who failed to send off Carragher when he brought down Owen?

He was the one that failed to send off Gary Neville too against Stoke.

Gary Neville shouldn't have been sent off against Stoke, the tackle he received his booking for was completely innocuous.

Shut up.
Just watching Suarez' goals for Ajax in the season that he scored 49 in 48, scored some brilliant goals, looked composed in front of goal too, that'd be my only criticism of him so far, but he's only 24 so he has time to improve.

Where is the criticism?

He misses easy chances. It's supersticious in my opinion, we all know he's an excellent finisher.

There will be a game where he absolutely rips the opposition apart soon. He's due a hat-trick.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I'd say he's too unselfish. But then he goes and takes it past a couple of players(everynow and then tries to nutmeg someone and gets it wrong). We can't really expect him to score goals, provide the movement, set up other players and chase down lost causes all at the same time.
My only real fear this season is that it seems to be Suarez doing all the work and only Suarez who I believe will get us the goals.

Just hope he scores one or two on saturday or anyone for that matter. But saturday is the all important game, but im praying he plays against Rangers at Ibrox so i can see him playing live. But a win on saturday and it wont really matter.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Why is that a fear? It's a good thing we have such a phenomenal player. People said the same about Gerrard, and then Torres.
The best thing about Suarez is the fact he seems almost indestructible, like Kuyt. He doesn't seem to be the kind of player who's prone to picking up niggles that force him out of a couple of games. If he gets injured, it'll have to be a serious injury imo.
He's scored 4 goals for us in the PL so far this season, and he could easily have had more (missed penalty vs Sunderland, missed one-on-one vs Bolton, missed sitter vs Everton etc)
He will get that goal-scoring form back that he had with Ajax and for us last season. The great thing is, even now that he's slightly off the boil in terms of finishing, he's still an amazing player. When Torres made a couple of gaffs, it took him what, 20 games to finally score? Same with Rooney a while ago. Won't be like that with Suarez. He'll always be scoring, no matter what.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I agree, it's not a bad thing. But wouldn't mind a few others chipping in(Must be because the last few games have been low scoring). Anyway I think Suarez has 5 goals and 4 assists so far this season.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Quite a few players have chipped in though? I'm going to work it out now ..
Sunderland (Suarez)
Arsenal (Suarez, OG)
Exeter (Suarez, Maxi, Carroll)
Bolton (Henderson, Skrtel, Adam)
Brighton (Bellamy, Kuyt)
Wolves (Suarez)
Everton (Carroll, Suarez)
Suarez - 5
Carroll - 2
Adam - 1
Bellamy - 1
Henderson - 1
Kuyt -1
Maxi - 1
Quite a few chipping in with goals, but yeah, Suarez with the lion's share. Downing is due a goal surely? Gerrard and Johnson will be in there when they're playing more too.

Where is the criticism?
Criticism is that sometimes he isn't quite clinical enough, take nothing away from him though, fantastic player.

Reina
While I disagree with players recommending potential managers to the board.
While people wanted the Owl, Reina wanted Pellegrino.
