    Just read this comment from an article about SAF comparing Rooney to Pele.

    i knew ferguson was losing it in his old age, i just didnt think it was happening this quickly. you've got to be kidding me. Ronney has to get in the same league as suarez, messi, aguero and ronaldo before he can think about pele

    Aguero is also very debatable, but Rooney or Suarez?

    Rooney by some distance at the moment although Suarez is not that far behind in terms of talent. This will become more clear at the end of the season when we've had the opportunity to analyze Suarez's performance in a top league for a full season.

    Suarez shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Rooney. Only a complete moron would actually rate Suarez higher than Rooney.

    Rooney has scored in Champions League Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and the Final against one of the greatest teams ever, he has been one of the foremost, if not the foremost player in the Premier League for several years now. The closest Suarez has come to any of is cheating his team into the World Cup Semi Finals, and a couple of nice tricks against an injury/suspension stricken Manchester United defence.

    Saying he's miles behind Rooney is quite complimentary to Suarez, he's lightyears behind Rooney.

    No shit genius, but you followed that up with additional text. Had you said Rooney is better then left it at that then no problem, but you said its ignorant to say Rooney is miles better when he is actually light years better than Suarez.
