I couldn't disagree anymore. Laurent wasn't better than Per in the Swansea match and neither were impressive today since the team as a whole was shit. I admit that Laurent isn't as shit as I make him out to be, but I still do not rate him. As the season progresses we will see how he plays when he gets on the field. He has upside, but I still don't want him starting for Arsenal.

Koscielny wasn't impressive against Dortmund? Fuck off. First half the whole team were shaky and let Dortmund in a few times, but in the second half, Koscielny was outstanding.

Did you watch the same game?

Gibbs played very well I thought, bar a slip up a couple times. Koscielny was better then Mertesacker too, who seemed quite quiet. Koscielny was better then Sagna in the 2nd half.

Yeah I watched the game

Gibbs was fucking shit. Giving the ball away etc. (like Kos in 1st half)

Koscielny was shit in the first half also and did ok in the second.

Overall Sagna was out best defender.

Mertesacker I thought was better than Koscielny.

Gibbs wasn't shit at all. Don't really know how you can say that, he gave the ball away once that was in a bad position, other then that I don't remember him doing so.

Kos also gave the ball away in the first half, but mainly because some of the midfield were smashing passes back at him, which he couldn't control properly under pressure. He shouldn't be made to do that anyway. He didn't just do ok in the second half, he stopped everything that came his way.

Saying that, i'd rather we started him against technical, quick sides, then Mertesacker.
