Yeah but Dan, the problem is that you can't play Gerrard in his best position and play Rooney or Lampard in their best position, and the better player has to take priority.

While Wales will definitely be up for this game and give it their all, to be honest, I can't see anything more here than an England victory. The difference in the two sides is too big for Wales to cause a shock.

Suicidal playing 2 in the middle now, Gerard is useless in a 2 man midfield anyway. But even in a 3 man midfield, wouldn't have Gerrard in there.

It's to "put" players off. A lot of teams have keeper's kits that are colourful or bright. Chelsea's orange keeper shirt last season was for that reason.
