Feel sorry for them? Rooney is a striker, Wilshire is a midfielder, Cahill a defender and Hart a goalkeeper!

That's a vital spine to any team, if the team performs well then that is partially down to them, they deserve whatever effort they put in TBH.

Nothing yet, but when fit he'll be in the starting line up and certainly probably the most important player for you lot in years to come.

If the defence is shit, no matter how good the keeper is he won't be able to withstand every attack the opposing team offers.

If the midfield isn't doing there job and providing enough assistance for Rooney he'll be isolated and end up drifting further back just to receive the ball. Service is poor for him at the moment.

WilshEre is the future for England in that midfield, he has to play with the shit crop like Lampard (National team performance wise), Barry (although he played well he's still not top quality) and a few others.

Cahill has to cope with his out of date defensive partner John Terry, who's absolutely going to get raped in the Euro's next year. Unfortunately Capello won't drop him although the replacements are limited.

Cole can't handle Bale at all, he needed Milner and Barry to assist him. How would he cope against the likes of Robben, Ribery, Nasri, Pedro etc I'd really have Baines starting over him. Physically stronger

Looks alright, but Carroll is shit, Cahill isn't as good as Jones, Kelly isn't as good as Richards and Cole is still far better than Baines. Also, you forgot Cleverley.

Cahill is better than Jones, and Cleverley doesn't fit in there. Spot on with the rest.

Richards > Kelly and Carrick shouldn't be there along with Carroll, other than that it's pretty much spot on and a much better squad that Capello has been picking with those deadwoods such as Terry, Cole, Barry etc.

Cahill >>>> Jones. Baines is not far off Cole, I'd rather have Baines in there than Cole. Cole's lost his pace, he's physically weak (never has been strong, but his pace allowed him to avoid that side) Cleverley doesn't fit that system.

It's hard as there's only Baines that's capable. Smalling at right back done a better defensive job than Cole last night.

It's hard as there's only Baines that's capable. Smalling at right back done a better defensive job than Cole last night.

Cole is far better than Baines, and as good as Smalling is (certainly better than Vermaelen) he can only dominate one side of the pitch at a time.
