Liked him when he was here, never wanted him to leave, looking forward to seeing him back at Anfield, hopefully he'll hit the form he found in the 09/10 season.

Not really mate. Crouch gave us a different option upfront. Bellamy was a similar type player to Torres and understandable wasn't prepared to play back up.

Also people were saying that Rafa wanted to keep Bellamy and convert him into a winger but the player refused. Djbril Cisse was in the same situation as well.

I'm happy with the Summer dealings, absolutely delighted. Said all Summer we'd sign 6-8 new players and release over 10, that has happened and it's what I wanted to happen, could not of asked any more of the Owners, Damien and Kenny, I personally feel they've done a fantastic job. Kenny's the man, I always knew that, I was unsure over Comolli (I mean come on, if you can sell Degen, Poulsen, N'Gog and Poulsen in one day, then you must be good surely?) he's done great and obviously I didn't know what the owners were willing to do, but it's pretty obvious, they're hear to win and they'll do what needs to be done, they've been a great help to both Kenny and Damien.

Squad has been trimmed severely, it's packed with first of all, quality..... and then it's got a nice mixture of experience and youth. We've got a great bunch of lads, we have a mixture of homegrown and foreign lads in there which is great to see, they're all hungry and fired up. I for one am really excited. Excellent work by the club. The squad's transformed virtually. 12 months ago, it was an over inflated squad of egos all past their sell by dates stocked up on heavy wages, the squad now is just a million miles away from that.

I'm just buzzing at the moment I've got to say.
