Even at a home game for the Union, we/they are the worst fans. Philly fans are basically just a bunch of hockey fans with no mind for the game, and our only out to drink beer.wellz wrote:worst:Philly, too many of them and they stink

Best - Spurs, Liverpool and Newcastle
Worst - Fulham, considering they are in a football based area (unlike Wigan etc) their fans are wank

Best - Leyton Orient, argued who hates Southend more and both did the conga with both teams having a guy's dressed as bananna's and Smurf's.
Worst - Milwall, threw coins at my dad, who threw them back and they all went quiet after that.

Best - Leeds, obviously. Derby brought good numbers as expected, but were fairly quiet seeing as we beat them 5-2.
Other than Derby and Leeds, Hull were very good. Coventry suprised me too last season considering how poor their home support is. Brought 1500 odd for a Tuesday night game and were pretty loud. Sheffield Wednesday were loud aswell in the 08/09 season.
Worst - Bristol City and Preston. Both only brought about 250 and we didn't hear them once, but both games were Tuesday nights to be fair. For a Saturday, then Scunthorpe were the worst, not too suprising. Plymouth were shocking the other season aswell, brought about 100 fans for their last Championship away game for what will probably be quite a long time

Best - Olympiacos, they have a great fan base, so many passionate people, always the loudest/best/most supportive fans, bar Panathinaikos.
Worst - Too many, Greek fans are all good, but quite a few teams do not have great fans.

Jordi wrote:Best: By far Southend, already relegated, but brought down loads of fans (including two people dressed as Spongebob and Patrick the first time) and were really noisy.
Worst: Probably Millwall, just a bunch of thugs, not interested in the football at all.
Now now Jordi you're becoming as stereotypical as other fans on Millwall. It was not all the fans it was the stupid muppets that drink before a game and don't like the final outcome.
Based on your accusations as well I can then call Saints fans thugs if one fan attacks someone?

Best - Swansea fans were great tbh, always sung and had some good chants.
Worst - Cardiff as a fan decided to jump off our second tier, no the worst ones were Bristol City and they even racially abused an African steward at Millwall.

I'm sorry but if they threw coins at you and then your Dad threw them back, why would they then go quiet. You just seem to be acting like a bigman on a forum .
Worst thing we did at Col U was the disappearing ball act which I didn't agree with as it added time on for Colchester not us the morons.

Hard to say who the worst fans are to have visited Whaddon road as many bring under 100 and sit in silence. Morecambe brought 44 fans to us last week but a few of their fans tried to get some songs going. Crewe fans have never impressed me at Whaddon so i'll go for them.
Best fans I'd say is Aldershot Town. Nice flag displays, sang through out the whole game and never got on their teams backs. Carlisle's and Grimsby's fans were also very impressive when they came to Whaddon Road.

That's not true.
