Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Would have been nice to see him play on the Wembley pitch, but sadly it's not happening. Guess he can come back to North London and join the England Spurs lads who weren't selected.

agreed, I'm getting Danny Rose on my jersey back unless we sign somebody really good. Modric and Bale are too risky

Bale is staying, as is Modric I am sure of it. But, if you are worried get Diarra.

yeah but I want a jersey I can wear for a long time and Bale, VDV, and Modric seem like huge risks to me. I already have Bale on last years jersey anyway so I don't want more Bale. If we sign someone I might get them but for me it was between either Rose or Walker because we signed both of them until 2015 if I recall. And Gio Dos Santos would be a sick jersey but we never play him really haha. I also contemplated maybe Assou Ekotto? Idk I can't choose my gut says Danny Rose, I'm waiting until the transfer window is over to order it just in case.

Sandro? Huddlestone?
I'm out of ideas for my top, I've done Bale, VDV and Modric already as well as Defoe. May do Dawson, Lennon or possibly a new signing like Diarra if we get one.

Sandro and Walker are both good choices but my gut says Danny Rose. LLorente or Diarra or someone like that if we signed them would also be a possible choice

This actually means our first game in the league is away to United at Old Trafford then we have City. Yep, we are definitely going to start the season with 2 wins out of 2.

if we win any trophy I dont care if we finish in 10th honestly. We'll be fine. Gareth Bale is fresh and fit again, VDV, Defoe to have a bounceback season. Obviously Man U and City will be tough but we'll be alright.

I'll take it if it's true. Not as if he's an Arsenal hero, plus he does well in the premiership, and with the service we'd give him he should score plenty.

Yeah, fast, tall, can actually head the ball, might be good for us, still others I'd have preferred, but he isn't the worst striker in the world, and if he provides the goods, who are we to judge?

Honestly I just think we need freshening up striker wise. Someone new coming in may spark the others into life and make the perform.

That's true, Defoe can hopefully regain his form, Pav who ever knows with him, but Crouch and Keane look set to leave, so hoping either Kane gets a chance in the first-term or we sign another striker, but don't care if 3 can perform.

There has been so much hype about Kane lately, I just hope he lives up to it. But, if he is selected and plays and doesn't perform then we shouldn't get on his back so quick. Give him time to settle into the first team etc.

Ah right, yeah he is shit. I'd rather remember the Keane that first joined us and linked up with Berbatov.
