And at a such low price as well for a player who seems to be a key player for you.

It is a shit link as well CaughtOffside. Also he was player of the season and a great holding midfielder.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Thudd isnt a defensive midfielder really, he cant cover ground and his tackling isnt great, and since his injury last season hes never really seemed the same, his passing is a bit inconsistant atm. Sandro is much more a true defensie midfielder but Lass is better atm I think plus sandro is out for a while

Lass - Huddlestone
Lennon - VdV - Bale
Striker
Modric = Gone
To be fair though, if you get £35 Million for him, spend £15 Mill on Lass? Not sure of the price, then another £20 Mill on a top striker, you'd have a good midfield/attack.

Fluffy doesn't believe in defensive midfielders.
But that is what Sandro is (well when Harry tells him to stay there ).
We have a shitload of midfielders, we need a striker much more then we need a midfielder, thats all i'm saying.

We do need a striker yes, but we also needed improving on Palacios and Jenas and the like. Diarra is an improvement, I'll take any signings as long as they improve the squad and are better than what we already have.

no hed be a shit buy, hed be expensive, not guaranteed games and doesnt do much when he does play. its pretty 50/50 between defoe and pav for who starts and im certain by sept 1st we'll have brought in at least 1 striker whod walk into our team

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Dont think you have a chance at Llorente. He is one of those loyal Basque guys, and Id say if he leaves it'd only be for a top, top club.
Lass is a g, hope you dont get him.

I think Defoe is the most talented but all 3 are close in overall usefulness. Harry loves Crouch and always has so he'll probably start but with him in there our attack becomes so predictable.

I don't really rate Pienarr tbh. I didn't see it as a good signing when Spurs bought him.

Week of the first game (if it goes ahead of course) and the injuries start. Pienaar, King, VDV, Sandro.

Llorente is going to have an English-esque transfer fee multiplier cos he's Basque.
I can only see him going to one club, Real Madrid.

Got injured against Brighton and missed the Bilbao friendly, van der Sar testimonial and was going to miss the England v Netherlands game (not that this one matters now), he may have been fit for Everton but still close to call.

Did he? I thought he would miss it as I heard he was only meant to just be fit for the Everton game.

Too bad the game against England has been canceled...was looking forward to it, #Wembley. Terrible for London what's happening there now.
Looking forward also to the start of the Premier League next week #Everton. Playing against my Netherlands teammate @Johnheitinga
Yeah I think he's fit.
