Don't you mean Jose?
And can you blame him? He's being hugged by Luis Suarez and Raul Meireles.

To answer your ?'s: yes they are my shoes, still not on iplayer (rights issues) & yes Rafa did say which top jobs Wenger has turned down.
Unfortunately I have been sworn to secrecy. He also said some great stuff about Aguero, Mourinho & Moyes - but I can't tell u that either.
Every time I've met Benitez he gives you 5-6 unbelievable football stories & then says "you tell no-one". It's very difficult.
He doesn't hate Moyes at all. They get on very well. Pity about #EFC today. Going to be long season.
I would give anything to have a conversation about football with Rafa..

Would be great to have a game off chess with him, talk football and get all the juicy gossip from when he was at the club. I also was to pet his dog Red.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I'm going to be completely honest here, I'd really prefer it that Carroll doesn't play. He doesn't suit the playstyle of the players we have here. Everytime he doesn't play we start playing a quick, high tempo, sharp passing game. Theres no doubt that Carroll is a talented player and has the skills to be a great striker but right now he doesn't suit our team. We play better football and are much more threatening without him. He lacks mobility and he doesn't have that finesse that Suarez, Aquilani, Meireles and all of our midfield has. Plus because of his aerial dominance we seem to feel obligated to always hit him in the air and it generally results in lost possession. Our set pieces are pretty predictable 9/10 times we aim for Carroll. I just don't like having him leading the lines because of the type of player he is. Maybe if he was a bit deeper and had Suarez running off him so he could flick it on or something but when the ball is launched to him and then he has to wait for support it just doesn't work.

I'm slightly concerned as well. If we stick him on the bench, we may play better, but the media will have a field day.Kaka11|LFC wrote:I'm going to be completely honest here, I'd really prefer it that Carroll doesn't play. Then again, 3 points > media's respect.
Do you think Raul M will get a ban?

"It was a fantastic advert for the Premier League," said Dalglish. "The quality of football from both sides was well worthy of a mention.

Bogdan calling Charlie Adam a Championship player is arguably as bad as some of the stuff Pip says.

Remember that ex player, strong rumour ages ago? And it being Benayoun, he apparently just said on Twitter he has an announcement to make regarding his future so thought I'd put that out there.
