Kenny and the coaching staff are in a far better position to judge than you, I don't mean to blindly say 'I trust Kenny, what do you know', but they are the ones watching them every day of every week at training, not you. They are the ones knowing what kind of effort he has been putting in, they know what his match fitness is like, (remember he didn't play a whole lot in pre-season) not you, so I don't see why you're acting as if you know the ins and outs of what has been going on, because you don't.

I think Meireles had an extremely patchy season but I've said I don't like judging him when he's been playing on the wing which everyone except Hodgson and Kenny knows doesn't suit him.
I'm happy for him to stay as a centre midfielder, anything else is pointless.

You know what I thought I saw earlier in the game, Lucas fouled Frimpong and got a yellow and whilst Frimpong was down he gave the finger to Lucas, not sure though.
Also just after half time Carroll was speaking to a Liverpool player telling him that he told someone to fuck off or something, might be aimed at Arsenal players.
