Guys seriously, use your heads. If there was nothing incriminating in the documents, why would the government try to block it's release? There's a cover-up somewhere.

96 people lost their lives, hundreds, even thousands still live with the scars. One lad, who sold his ticket to someone that died at Hillsborough, killed himself last year because he couldn't live with it. These people need to know the truth.

This has nothing to do with the Taylor Report either.

I reckon there's probably a reason why they're not releasing them, and you scousers might not be too happy about it when your campaign of pressure eventually succeeds. Boris Johnson was a journalist at a News International newspaper, is a senior politician, and he once claimed that, broadly speaking, drunk and ticketless fans were a cause at Hillsborough. In addition, the allegations that were printed in The Sun newspaper under the headline THE TRUTH, Mr. McKenzie has always stood by them despite being hated and vilified for printing them. The nature of these documents is such that no-one knows what they will show? Can you imagine if they backed up The Sun's claims, or apportioned blame to the Liverpool fans? You guys always assume that there are conspiracies that are working against you, maybe this one's working for you.

The first duty of the government is to protect it's citizens, that includes scousers, includes families of the dead, and includes protecting from psychological harm, maybe you guys should think about that, and move on. Some information is best locked in a vault and destroyed with acid.

Still, the release of literally every document might put an end to all the 'JFT96' nonsense (although I doubt it - a public enquiry and an apology form the Sun did nothing to slow it), so I'll sign it.

Perhaps if you disagree with it so strongly, you should just ignore the whole thing, rather than going on a mission to protect the dignity of the authors of the articles.

Then it is what it is. They wouldn't go so forcefully forward about it if they didn't believe they were right.

I'll admit I am not extremely familiar with the situation, I haven't followed the game for very long. But shouldn't this be questioned, that there were however many thousand people there, and only the select few, apparently situated perfectly, authors at the S*n saw this?

Be careful what you wish for is all I'm saying.

Perhaps I can explain it better in the form of a parable

I remember when I was little, I once asked my mum for some ice cream, and she gave me sum, but I was a greedy little fucker and I wanted it all. She said 'No Resurrection*, you can't have this tub of ice cream', even though my friend said 'Give him the ice cream, it's in his interest', (eloquent little fucker he was, he was only 4 as well). So I banged on and on at my mum, 'Mum, give me the tub, I want it, I want it, I want it', I even wrote down that I wanted it in her notebook and got my mates to sign it. Eventually she got sick of it and gave me the tub of ice cream, I ate the lot and was sick for a week, never wanted to see the stuff again.

I didn't need you to make up a story about ice cream to understand what you were saying, and nobody with a brain should need that.

Viva I thought you were off, bro?

As strongly as you feel Liverpool fans aren't looking at it from your point of view, you are not looking at it from an LFC point of view either.

Put it this way. The same mum you speak of that gave you a tub of ice cream was killed in an accident and there was a very public report written about how your dad killed her and then pissed on her.

You would want to beat that author's head in.

Edit: listen, I am not here to convert you to the other side. Just that maybe your crusade against people wanting the JTF96 may be a tad unwarranted.
