I'm actually proper worried about Udinese now after seeing that.
Only positive was Vermaelen, Koscielny and Sagna pretty much.

Grabbing him around the neck while pulling said player up is I imagine.

Did Barton seriously say that Gervinho punched him? Cos didn't last season, he punch Pedersen? Gervinho's was nothing like a punch.
Barton would die if he got the punch he gave to Pedersen after seeing his reaction to a slap today.

Both were at it and Gervinho needlessly swiped at him.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Song was decent,Sczesny dominated his area,Vermaelen and Koscielny both beasting against big center forwards.
Gervinho's final ball today was shocking, serious lack of creativity from midfield aswell
The red card was deserved, just can't react like that although I think Barton should of got one aswell. Presume that we'll set up with Arshavin on the left,Theo on the right vs Liverpool now.

It wasn't bad at all, he got no real help and failed to deliever the final ball, was good though, very direct and took on players.Jamie wrote:I await Arise's take on Gervinho's debut.

As the eternal optimist I am..
Our defence SOLID against a strong side.
But being a realist, we can't rely on the likes of Rosicky to bring in the goods, Wenger surely cannot expect to go without Nasri and Fabregas and expect creativity, even though Arshavin got 17 assists last year, most of them were just that final touch in the box and stuff, he's brilliant at that but you can't expect him to pick put every pass. Ramsey was good but we still need more, more, more.
Gervinho went past defenders like there were 60 but he wasn't on the same wavelength as van Persie, he went for the near post a lot when van Persie wanted it smashed across the box to the back post.
I think it's best if we went 2 upfront, or at least got someone with an eye for goal and is very creative to play behind van Persie, someone like Fabregas and Nasri.
Don't get me started on the referee and Joey Barton, I can't believe I wanted the cunt in the team.
At least we got the point and it was away from home, plus this might be the catalyst for Wenger to buy replacements and fast and to top it all off Vermaelen looks like usual beastly self and Koscielny was just as beastly.

Barton is such a pathetic cunt its not even funny. What reason did he have to react as he did? Diaby got sent off for less this fixture last season and then he dives as well as if hes been shot
Gervinho's red was a good decision, but if anything Barton should have been off as well

Can't believe how everyone thought Gervinho was a good signing in pre-season, yet 1 game into the season everyone thinks he's shit.

You do know Fonseca of ALL our players, Gervinho was the one most likely to get things going.

Didn't you hate him as well after last season where he tried to end Diaby's career and pushed Szczesny?

The people who thought Gervinho will be a good signing are not the ones who are saying now he'll be shit.

Did nothing wrong, only failed to deliever the final ball as I already said, was way better than the likes of Arshavin anyway.

Come on... be realistic here

Song.
Funny how that cunt Barton picks Gervinho up for diving yet falls like a pack of cards when he gets grazed. Should of been a penalty too, ref didn't give a foul for either team and Barton man handled him up.
Good result though, makes our result a little bit better.

You bring so much negativity in here it's unbelievable.
Literally never saw you saying anything positive about Arsenal
