Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Funny how, when we used Suarez' performances in Holland in any argument, we were told it's a shit league. But when it comes to Lukaku ripping apart the Belgian League it's completely different.

No one's said Lukaku is a guaranteed great player, just he's got a lot of potential. Some people in here were claiming that Suarez was going to be an undoubted success, just because of what he did in Holland.

That doesn't explain why the Belgium league is now considered a top league over Holland

Wrong. That is not how the discussions went.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Rather than talking in broad generalisations of all non-Liverpool fans, why don't you show some specific examples where have said the Belgian League is a top League and the Dutch League isn't, or where they have implied that. Because some non-Liverpool fans thinking the Dutch league isn't worth talking about, and some others thinking the Belgian league is, that's not strange, that's just normal, people having different views.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I tell my Welsh Chelsea fan about how meaningless the Belgium league is everyday, apart from Liege and Anderlecht, the rest of the teams are Championship quality or lower.
But to rip a league up at 16-17 is something.
I think Lukaku is overrated but he's still a good youngster, the Dutch league is considerably better than the Belgian one but a lot of the Dutch teams ar also Championship quality.

Liverpool fans were saying Suarez is going to be the next big thing, Arsenal/Chelsea/Man United fans then came in saying you can't judge a player after just half a season in the PL. Liverpool fans then said 'I guess people just forget he played in the Dutch League and ripped that up too' or 'his career didn't start at Liverpool' then the Arsenal/Chelsea/Man United fans proceeded to look down on the Dutch League, saying it's not hard to perform well in it.
These same people are now ejaculating at the thought of Lukaku ripping up a Belgian League, and I think I've read some people say it's a 'top League'. As you can see, the contradiction is evident.
I hope you understood.
