Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
It does make me laugh how we were ripped for signing Henderson, someone who has played brilliant in the premiership but Arsenal and chelsea can pay 12 and 20m for two 17 year olds who've never played in the premiership.

£7 million upfront, £5 million in add-ons.
And Lukaku ripped a top division up 2 seasons in a row before he could drive, even though personally I think he's overrated, he's still good.
Henderson is a good buy, it's Carroll everyone takes the piss out of.

Henderson has hardly been brilliant in the Premier League, but I can understand the point that's being made.

Nothing has been said about it on the LFC site, or RAWK. Don't know where he's got that from. Unless it's another shit joke.

I doubt there will be major trouble tonight. Police are prepared, last night they weren't.
Watch shit go loose tonight now

We payed £7m for Chamberlain with a possible £5m more depending on how he does.Mc Babel wrote:It does make me laugh how we were ripped for signing Henderson, someone who has played brilliant in the premiership but Arsenal and chelsea can pay 12 and 20m for two 17 year olds who've never played in the premiership.
Lukaku for £20m was a better deal than Henderson. He's 17 and already a superior footballer to both of these 2 and dominated a EPL team 2 weeks ago and scored hatrick past them (Fulham). He's also been great at international level. Don't get this premiership proven bullshit...

It could rise to £15m according to Southampton, crazy spending that on a 17year old when you need a goalkeeper, 2 defenders a striker and poss a midfielder if one of the 2 leave.

I beg to differ. I watched that game and he stood out for me. Especially in the build up to Gyan's goal. Beautifully weighted pass.
