Hes good on his day. Very much a hot and cold player but i've always been a fan of kranjcar. If he wants to leave then it'll be quite difficult since he would get into quite a few premiership sides.

Signed from Sheffield United in the summer of 2009, Kyle spent the second half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough where he made 15 appearances.

The full-back has also made four appearances in our colours.

A lot of people seem to be making noises about Redknapp for England. It's really quiete annoying the lack of respect it shows towards our club. He's our manager and people need to stop linking him to the England job.

I dare say its people trying to unsettle Spurs like they always seem to do. They're not happy that the Sky 4 was broken up. I bet the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd wouldn't be disrespected that way.

And considering he said that, it's not like he's dismissed it, I think he's class for Spurs and if the opportunity came along in a few years, I could see him wanting the England job.

And I understand that, but the England job and managers is one of the most talked about things, so it should be expected really.

He's always wanted the job. He's old school country over club (like me ) Doesn't mean it should be plastered all over the news every 5 minutes. Can't be doing Capello much good if people are discussing his successor all the time, nor the squad.

Wonder is Harry being England manager would mean some of our players could actually get the call ups and places they deserve in the team (Dawson and Huddlestone spring to mind)

I may criticise England alot (with good reason I'll add), but I've always been country over club. Not by loads though.

Now sorry to say this because you was just complaining about it, but if Harry was in charge of England I'd feel much better about the country and feel much closer to it all because he's actually English with a bit of passion about him.

Can't stand Capello some times, he should just grow a pair and try different players, he just picks the same team no matter what form they're on.

That quote came off the back of a disappointing World Cup though. So it was in his best interests to keep that option open. The season has now started and Capello chose to stay on. They should keep quiete about it.

If Capello gets sacked then I can understand Harry being linked to the job. But linking him to England every other day is disrespectaful not only to Spurs but to Capello aswell. Like him or not, he's the England manager and this is his job. People shouldn't be talking about someone taking over his job so freely.

I'd like England fans to actually support the manager for once. We failed with Sven and we failed with Steve aswell, so maybe it isn't just down to the manager. Maybe its the players themselves who simply aren't good enough.

Besides, as much as I rate Harry as a club manager, there's nothing to suggest he'd be great as England manager. It's a totally different kettle of fish. Fabio Capello is a lot better qualified for the England job than Harry Redknapp. He's won League title and European Cups numerous times.

The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham have rejoined the race for Belgian wonderkid Romelu Lukaku.

It emerged recently that the North London side had a £17.5m bid for the Anderlecht youngster rejected in the summer. Arsenal have emerged as favourites to sign the striker but Spurs are apparently ready to up their earlier offer.


of course i don't expect us to get him with the likes of madrid and chelsea after him but... I think it would be good for him to come to a club like us before going to a big big club and failing!!!

He has a lot of pressure on him being called the next drogba. although for how young he is he looks so strong and quick. Hopefully can only get better. He needs to prove himself in the Premier League before he can be called the next drogba, but he has the physic and potential to be a star! so I wouldn't call him overrated just yet.

We tried to if you believe some rumours but Levy said no due to the price. Maybe it'll be different in Jan though, after he's seen how good our midfield is but that we lack a killer touch upfront. There is only so long VDV can carry them with his goals.

Great thing aswell is that we've got quality on the bench too. I mean Kranjcar is our 3rd choice AM He'd get into most teams in the EPL.

I'd like Kranjcar at United, what a steal he was along with VDV.

Alnwick joins Leeds on loan:

Ben Alnwick has joined Championship side Leeds United on a one-month loan.

Goalkeeper Ben has previously spent time on loan with Luton Town, Leicester City, Carlisle United and Norwich City since joining us from Sunderland in January, 2007 as well as appearing on three occasions in our colours.

Hopefully it does him some good.
