I think we will probably loose away to Inter and may get a draw at home.

Yep. Rafa and his defensive formations and zonal marking will ruin Inter, why is he playing Dirk Kuyt on the wing for god's sake?.

When there was no interest in him, I was calling for his signing, but Fergie never was interested, and threads on him, I predicted him to become great with Spurs, amazing player.

Van Der Vaart is easily Spurs best player. What a steal he was.

If we had someone on Berbatov level up top with VDV I think we'd be right up there with Arsenal battling for 3rd. That's all we're really missing atm. We have good strikers but just lack that 1 special striker.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Those games after midweek cup games are always tough, so i'm always happy with 3 points in those games. International break before the Fulham game. Hopefully no more injuries in those. We always find it tough at Craven Cottage so we'll need a strong side fo that one.
Lennon, Huddlestone and Crouch in the England squad. Nice to see Huddlestone finally in it. We're lacking a technical midfielder in the national team and if given a fair shot I think Huddlestone will step up.

Huddlestone - The 'Passmaster'
Harry Redknapp sees Tom Huddlestone as a player with everything - including improving the defensive side to his all-round game.
Of course, Tom is best known for his passing game and, as Harry describes, has the ability to ‘clip a ball anywhere he wants to on a football pitch'.

Felt like a change.
Not sure if I want him to play tonight. We all saw what happened to Dawson the other match, but I've always felt strongly about playing for your country. I'm one of them crackpot 'country > Club' people :p Reckon he'd fit in perfectly and be a great outlet for the more attacking players like Rooney, Johnson ect.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
England have severely been lacking a technical holding player like Huddlestone. I'm surprised he has had such little recognition by Fabio Capello. With Michael Carrick long off form, he would've been the ideal replacement. At the end of the day, Huddlestone is the future, and both he and Adam Johnson would've benefit greatly by going to the world cup.
Even though Fabio tried to get Scholes into the World Cup, it would've made more sense to get Huddlestone in there. Scholes is great, but he's not the future. I'm also shocked he tried to get Arteta into the England squad when he has Tom Huddlestone playing every game for Spurs, qualifying for the Champions League and always improving. I hope he does great tonight.
Sandro looks a good player too. He played the final 25 mins again for Brazil last night. He looks so composed and so strong, keeps it nice and simple, but knows when to get stuck in. He's also really comfortable coming out with the ball. I think he's going to be a big time player in midfield. Great competition for Huddlestone in the holding role, but also a potential partner for tough games.

An England game that was crying out for some sort of invention, yet Capello still insists on leaving Huddlestone out of the team
If ever there was a game for England to play Huddlestone then last night was it. Someone who can pick a pass, sread the play and offer a bit of craft. He's no Xavi, but he'd be a damn site better at that than Barry. I really didn't see the need for a player like Barry last night.
Ah well. At least he'll be fresh for us this weekend. I also hope Kranjcar gets a game against Fulham too. He's scored a few goals for Croatia this past week. He has something to prove.

YEah i agree with the huddlestone... Barry was playing more like CAM and Gerrard CDM... if huddlestone was in there he would of been the more defensive player with Gerrard playing higher up the pitch !!
Kranjcar 3 goals in the past 2 games for croatia. Really hope we play him vs fulham! he deserves it

I think we have a lot better players than Kranjcar. I just don't think Kranjcar is that good.
