Fuck off, not everyone is optimistic to the point of insanity like you.
You fuck off, and im not totally optimistic but i will give it time before saying this player is a shit signing or not. I would maybe have rather have seen different players signed, but they have not been and i will support the new players that have been brought in, until such times they have had enough time to prove how good or bad they will be for Liverpool football club. But its going to take Liverpool time to build the club up again and to have a real chance of challenging for a League title, and with not being in the Champion's Leauge or Europe maybe thats why we cant go for so called proven top class players, and they are also building a lot behind the scenes and are hopefully going to bring through some top class youngters in the years to come.

Why does everything have to come back to Barcelona when he has an opinion on the club he supports?

I think the Suspect Face says it all.

    He's right though.

Thats his and your opinion which is fair enough, but maybe give the players that have signed a chance to see how good or bad they are going to be. Fuck me they have not even played one competitive game and they are shit signings. I will give them a chance before im going to say too much about them, and we dont know all the ins and outs of what is going on with Aquilani, if he wants to go back and play in Italy thats fair enough, and if Dalglish has known this he cant change his all his plans to wait and see what certain players are going to do.

It his decision what he wants to do and its up to him who he signs and plays, and if it does not work out well then have a go at Dalglish and the players if they dont perform, but at least give Dalglish and the players time then that would be fair enough if people want to have a go.
Aquilani > Adam, Henderson I would say Downing, but different positions. However Aquiliani > Downing Laughing

But i dont think Aquilani fits into the plans of how Dalglish wants Liverpool to play, especially if Carroll and Suarez are going to be up front. I think Aquilani is better playing in Free role where he can run the game from with less defensive responsibility, and with two up front that will not happen, Although i would agree Liverpool played some of their best football near the end of the season without Andy Carroll playing.

I thought we were supposedly playing "pass and move" next season?

Maybe it's 'pass to the wings, cross for big man' instead like Aston Villa of a few seasons ago, wonderful.

It is, that's why Downing was signed over someone like N'Zogbia shifty

Don't forgot the Adam/Gerrard cross field balls to those wingers aswell.

I don't see why everyone is getting so worked up.
If Aquilani doesn't want to be here, he can fuck off for all I care, his agent has been making noises about wanting to stay in Italy all season, he clearly wants to be there rather than here, he's a good player, obviously, but he's not irreplaceable and we already have better at the club.

And I know some people aren't happy with the replacements, but at least give them a couple of fucking competitive matches before labeling them shit signings. I'm not expecting everyone to be jumping for joy and acting as if we've signed Lionel fucking Messi, but writing players off before they have played a league match is stupid.

All this talk of 'Aqua > Adam, we're so fucking stupid replacing one with the other', if Aquilani didn't clearly have his heart set on returning to Italy then we wouldn't be having this 'problem'. At the end of the day, people criticizing our signings should take a look at the reason we are looking at replacements for Aquilani, which is the man himself. He clearly doesn't want to be here so as far as I'm concerned he can leave, I won't be losing any sleep over it.

Maybe they will still play pass and move football, but with Carroll hopefully he gets 100% fit and with him being in there it can add a different dimension and we can change the type of football we play. I want to see us playing pass and move football, but if we do and also get the ball to the wings and cause problems i will also be happy.

    in end of the day

aquilani just does not suit dalglish philosphy for football

dalglish want him to run around like chicken and spend 20 minutes on end of not touching the ball and instead just chase chase and chase because ball is constantly going from A to B, and then A to B again, A being carragher foot and B being carroll chest or head

basically a midfield is not required

So why did Dalglish and his Liverpool teams of years ago play some amazing attacking pass and move football.

I don't see how people can see we will now struggle with a player who has hardly played for us. Might aswell say Man Utd will struggle without hargreaves.

Don't mind Mauro, he's Italian. He gets a kick out of corrupt clubs, racism and watching old, long-haired men walk around a field.

Yeah, I know that's a pretty racist post too.

Big mistake, Aquilani is class. But.. you have enough depth I suppose so it won't be a massive loss.

Liverpool is in no major competitions and still has an overly huge squad with way too many midfielders that will just create locker room drama.

Gerrard, Downing, Adam, Shelvey, Spearing, Meireles, Lucas, Maxi, Kuyt, Henderson, Cole, Poulsen, etc.

Is just a mess waiting to happen coaching wise.

no reason to have a squad with that many guys battling for spots if you aren't in the champions league, or at least europa. The players will become unhappy and it will be too hard to get some of them match time.
