Rangers are champions and McCoist has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but people can easily forget that he has no experience of first team management. Rangers previous three title wins were largely down to the manager Walter Smith, who produced a team that were not exciting but consistent and efficient.
McCoist lacks that managerial know-how and I think he will struggle at first. It wouldn't surprise me if Rangers are sitting in 3rd at ths halfway point of the season, but then pick up and finish in 2nd place: still being quite a way behind Celtic who should really win the league this year with their superior squad.
Poor troll is poor.
I'm not trolling with these comments in any way whatsoever. Most of what I say is factual information.
Are you going to respond and attempt to drill it into me that Allistair McCoist contains the adequate managerial experience to take charge of an Old Firm side when he has never been a first team manager?
You can respond to me by saying that he has been an assistant manager with a prominent role, but being in charge of the first team is a completely different animal. If difficult off the pitch problems occur during the season, McCoist will have no choice but to face up to the sometimes fearsome media. With his lack of experience, he could accidentally step out of line and say something improper which leads him and the club into more trouble.
If a big player decides in January that he would like a move away from Ibrox, then how is McCoist going to handle it? He could easily end up making the mistake of keeping an unhappy player, who in turn, gives a negative vibe across to the Rangers dressing room and affects their strong, winning mentality that has been in existence during the last 3 seasons.
These are just a couple of problems that the man may end up encurring. Would you like more examples, or do you comprehend the point I am trying to get across to you here?
