The reason it's a bad move is because he had a secure job in Porto (backed by the whole club) and is doing a fantastic job there simultaneously taking Porto to the next level and making a name for himself. Chelsea are structurally dissimilar to Porto and have more competition and higher expectations and worse still, their track record of having managers successfully see their contracts out has been woeful in the last few years. He could tarnish his reputation in the blink of an eye.

It's hard to tell looking at it now. When you look at Porto's current line up 6/7 years down the line you might say "Wow what a side that was".

I honestly don't think he's ready to handle a English team yet full of established stars in the Premier League you need the respect of the dressing room and with such a low profile and being the same age as many of them I think that may be difficult and Chelsea would be the worst of those to go to considering how they treat their managers and lack of patience.
