What's to say he won't stick with AvB?
Sexiest and youngest manager in the league

He's only there for the short term. He agreed to take over Liverpool when Kenny is finished.

Shame. Wanted him to stay put for a few more seasons.
Mourinho MKII will go into over drive now seeing as he's following the same path Mourinho did.... Would be sick of it already if I was him.

Should've waited one season more before going, appoint Hiddink in the mean time.

He was the manager of the British Virgin Islands national team in 2000/2001. What a guy

Didn't say exactly the same....
He's gone from winning a European cup at Porto to Chelsea. Which is what Mourinho did. I expect he'll go Inter Milan next

Would be funny if he actually turns out to be really shit, which is a possibility just not a very big one

Fantastic appointment but they should stick with a manager for once.

Be interesting to see how they do with Villas-Boas as manager. It's certainly a risk, but one Roman and Villas-Boas are prepared to take. He's got to be careful though, there's players in that dressing room who are as old as him and experienced as him, so he needs to get the big ego's under control, could prove difficult. Guus Hiddink was clearly the best choice. I'm surprised.

He's already familiar and gets on well with most of the players apart from those who came in after he left, which was around 2007-08, so not that many new faces.
It seems now that we won't appoint a DoF, which is great news, giving AvB a free reign over the club.

Free reign? In what aspect?

AvB is mint, would of loved him to take over the posts at United if Fergie retired anytime soon. I actually reckon Chelsea will keep him, they will do well next season too.
