Fuck off with all of this, he's been given an ageing squad, his task is to refresh this squad and get rid of deadwood, yet most of the deadwood are fucking cult heros and one cost 50 fucking million, you give this man a couple of years, you let him build a squad of his, you let him be able to change their style of play, they'll be flying.

I do agree that he needs time. Your very right, however I never felt that he should have got the job in the first place. Carlo shouldn't have been sacked.

18 games since his last goal ain't it? Doesn't matter if he has been doing ok he's not doing his main job of scoring goals.
I like AVB, reckon he moved too fast to too big of a club. Fairly sure I said as much when he 1st moved

Yeah they are. Maybe not on the same level as United and co.
Massive expectations too from the owner and the fans.
I reckon he'd have flourished at Spurs a few seasons ago when we didn't really have high expectations of the team.

Re: Andre Villas-Boas Sack Watch
It's only a matter of time, in all honesty. I'd like him to be given more of a chance, but with Abramovic in charge, I don't think it's going to happen.
He's shown his inexperience this season and has made so many errors. He wants to play his own style of play, but Chelsea just don't have the players to do it at the moment. I can understand trying to make slight changes, but you can't just come into an ageing side and try to make them play a fast, free flowing style of football.
He seems to be more of a stats man than anything else, in all honesty. That only works to a certain extent. You can't completely rely on them.

I'm not being funny but you are such a whiny bitch, all you do is threaten to put people on ignore, we don't care if you don't have the balls to talk to strangers if they don't share your opinion.

Let's live in the past and forget Chelsea have won 3 more Premier League titles than Liverpool.

Guus Hiddink is out of a job, and it seems to be common knowledge that Abromovich wants him to be the manager. One word from Hiddink and Vilas Boas is history.

The main problem with Hiddink though is, how will he cope with club management? He's spent a long time in charge of national side, and the sudden adjustment wouldn't be an easy one to make. It could end up similar to the situation with Scolari.

He spent 6 months as a caretaker and made every single one of Chelsea's dressing room problems disappear for almost a year. The man knows what he's doing.

They paid something around 7 million to get AVB? Would be mad to sack him anytime soon.

He can into a no lose situation though. Chelsea couldn't have been much worse off than they were at the time. It often happens that when a new man comes in, he'll be able to steady the ship for a while. There are many things he hasn't been tested in? How would he fair in the transfer market? Which players would he get rid of?Laurencio wrote:cheesy wrote:The main problem with Hiddink though is, how will he cope with club management? That is also true, but he was sacked, AVB was hired so he deserved the time to do what he was hired for.

Guus Hiddink could do the management role and appoint someone else for transfers though. It's not exactly unheard of.

For me though, that's where the problems start to come in? Managers should be doing it themselves, and if he is good enough, then he should be able to make the right signings.Laurencio wrote:cheesy wrote:He can into a no lose situation though. Fergie signs his players here, Guardiola does it at Barca etc.
