Platini is regarded as many as one of the greatest ever French players. He was a pivotal part of the French team that won the Euros in 1984. He also played for Juventus in the 1980s and helped them beat then champions Liverpool in the 1985 European Cup Final. Platini was absolute top class i remember watching him playing for France in the European championships of 84 and he won the European footballer of the year 3 times in a row i believe. But that 85 Final should have never been played and the Juventus penalty was more than a yard outside the box but that game did not matter.

But its got to part of it does it not playing at a high level and winning League title's and European cups . And well if you notice i was having a wind up.

15th-Garrincha-30 points

While many people always like to focus on Pele, as far as the greatest Brazilian player of the 1960s is concerned, Garrincha surely has to be up there. He was an absolutely incredible player with incredible ball control and dribbling skills. His left leg was shorter than his right leg which would have suggested he wouldn't have been able to make it as a footballer but he did and showed his true ability at the 1962 World Cup where Brazil won the tournament and he was the standout player.

He wasn't in my top 10, but I would have put him in 11th or 12th.

I was shocked by this one and whether he deserves to be anywhere near this list or not is debatable but Gerrard has been a top player for Liverpool over the past decade and at times has carried the team. He played an important role in the 2005 Champions League winning team and is regarded by some as Liverpool's greatest ever player.

12th-Kenny Dalglish-37 points

Kenny Dalglish is regarded by many as one of the greatest Scottish players of all time. He is a legend at his first club Celtic and would go on to do even more when he went to Liverpool where he is thought of by many as the clubs greatest ever player. Some may question his position being so high on this list but he is without doubt a top quality player.
