Putting players with teams they never played for?? That sounds really stupid to me!

Re: football tops/kits seen in public
All I see are Barcelona and Madrid kits with the odd Milan kit.
Once a kid came up to me when I was out with my mates, I was wearing an old Arsenal shirt with Ljungberg on it, the one from his last season with us, and he asked be "Who's Leh-JUNG-Berg" when I turned around to correct him he caught a glimpse of the crest and then he blurted out "And who are Arse-Anal".
My mates never let me forget that day.
Scary thing is, I think that kid was being serious

Will you still post in the Real Football forum?
Anyway, in Switzerland there's a great variety amongst footy kits, unlike with the glory hunting Kuwaitis jk
On Friday I saw a guy with a Chelsea shirt who looked exactly like Ivanovic

Re: football tops/kits seen in public
Yesterday was not a great day for football tops as I only saw two. A blank Chelsea top and then a Ronaldinho Barcelona top. That was a classic shirt that was before the UNICEF sponsorship days.

Re: football tops/kits seen in public
I saw a regular interesting shirt yesterday which I never thought I would see. It was a #12 Yokohama F. Marinos shirt with no name, I guess that number is reserved for the fans or something. We do not have any real Japanese community anywhere near where I live which made this seem very odd. Only think I could think of is if that person was in the military here and was maybe based in Japan and thus has a favorite team and follows the J. League.

Went to Newcastle for the weekend. No glory hunters in sight. Literally, every person wearing a football top I saw was wearing a Newcastle shirt

Re: football tops/kits seen in public
I saw some interesting shirts yesterday so I thought it would be good to share them.
national teams Brazil, Germany, Italy, and Spain
Real Salt Lake blank
Real Madrid David Beckham
Chelsea Frank Lampard
Something different... AC Milan goalkeeper shirt Dida
Which brings a new question, do you guys ever buy a goalkeeper shirt ever? Would be nice for a collector or maybe to honor someone like Edwin Van der Sar

Barnsley where I work is good for avoiding glory hunters. Never see any other teams tops except the odd Man u or Liverpool, but I seen about 5-10 barnsley shirts every day.

Re: football tops/kits seen in public
Was very busy today and did not have time to check for any shirts today, thanks for the answers to my question. I still think keeper jerseys are not that common which makes it cool to have one. If I was a collector I would have a few. I also think any well known shirt that is really different would be a good part of a collection like a pink Parlermo shirt or maybe the Inter shirt that looks like it should be for the England national team rather than Inter.
