I don't know why people keep saying Nasri can play as a winger... first of all Arsenal don't play with true wingers that keep as much width as Manchester United and their 4-4-2. second of all even in nasri playing as the wide forward in Arsenal's system he isn't near as effective. He was rocking shit up earlier this season because he actually got to play in the Fabregas role which he is much more suited for..not to mention has had a better season there then Fabregas has. As far as I'm concerned Nasri is a CAM/CM and Nani is a winger and neither of them are that versatile, but absolutely incredible at the positions they play

Tbf Walcott plays pretty wide, but I dont think Arsenal play with symmetrical wings, it looks more to me like they tuck Nasri in more central and play Walcott wider on the other side. Wingers arnt really needed that much though for Arsneal, I mean how many times do Arsenal cross the ball.

Just before Nasri left Arsenal Wenger played him in the middle and he played very well, thats his natural position and if played there consistently he would run a game against anyone. Nani out wide will tear teams to shreds though.

On a serious note, Nani gets my vote because he is more consistent than Nasri, when Nasri is at his best he is some player but he likes to come inside from a wide position while Nani's game is all about width, different players but Nani wins simply because he produces great performances on a regular basis, if Nasri was as consistent and could produce his amazing form he had at Arsenal for a few months last season I would choose him for Manchester City as he has better short passing and plays inside rather than on the wing often which fits into our system of possession football.
