You don't ever have a drink when watching the football in your house?

Drinking a couple beers while watching TV is different than hanging back a dozen drinks.

Nothing wrong with having a couple of cans or bottles alone watching football or a movie. If you are getting wrecked alone then it's probably different. Laughing

I think I've done it. I think I've ACTUALLY done it.

My cartridges ran out half way through monday, so I went cold turkey. I was with some friends on wednesday and they were smoking and I crumbled and had one, but I regretted it straight away and didn't get ANYTHING from it, I didn't get a headrush, I didn't feel the relief I usually get from smoking after a long period without. Since then I haven't had a craving and haven't had any cigarettes/nicotine.

I think I'm no longer a smoker. It's fucking weird but awesome.

Good man, I tried so many times to stop and did a few times and went back to it. And i was smoking sometimes 30 to 40 a day, but im happy to say ive stopped now for over 5 years and i dont miss it at all and it does not bother me if people are smoking around me ive never wanted to have one, infact i hate the bloody smell of them most times anyone is smoking near me.

Gonna try and give up smoking myself. Been doing it for too long.

Going to try cold turkey first, rather than jumping straight into expensive gums/patches etc.

I sort of started again. I don't buy cigarettes after 5pm though.

I used to work for a marketing company who sold them on behalf of the makers, Steamlite E-Cigs I think they were. I never used them myself, but my boss at the time used them and said they were good.

My mate used them. He said they don't help you quit, they're just like a healthy substitute. You're still getting nicotine, and still going through the habbit if putting a cigarette shaped object to your mouth. He said if he stopped the electric cigarettes he'd most likely go back on the real thing.
