    No, neither should Real Madrid.

Pathetic display by the two 'best' clubs in the world.

Yeah, the diving and cheat is something to admire.
Nope, I don't admire it.. I don't like it.. Nani is one of my favourite footballers but when he's rolling around and play acting it really pisses me off and he could be so much better if he didn't do it..

Barcelona are an amazing football team, but most of the time they act like cunts.

This is like admiring paedophiles who are good in bed.

You must admit James, the football they play is brilliant. The diving, rolling on the floor, crying, referee hassling, etc is nothing to be admired though.

most of these things could be said about any big club. Barca play the best football in the world if you just watch their football and forget about the other stuff you will see why they are so well respected

I find their football boring personally. Too slow... If i'm watching a game as a neutral I want to see exciting games... Not hog the ball games.

thats why England will never win anything with that mentality. In england they prefer hoof ball, and that never works. Once we get out of that English mentality English football will improve. Barca play the best football, pass and move. pass around the back, slow build up and bang! Killer through ball and a goal.

Liverpool won everything with this in the 80's. Barca are doing it now with the same play. Total football. I'd rather watch the 'boring' barca than anything else.

Barca have the skill to kill of opponents. win games.

    Continental football > english football.

There isn't just 2 styles of football you know. Maybe I enjoy watching fast tempo football across the ground. Not 10 passes around the back, 10 in the midfield, 10 in the defence again etc etc. That is boring.

I agree with a lot of that. But Liverpool won everything by playing both they changed their game when playing in Europe and did not always play the same type of football in the English game. Barcelona... Are they really a team that should be admired? - Page 2 284837 And i love things about both styles of football Continental and British Football dont like the hoof ball but love the pace of the British game.

What i'm trying to say is there football would be no where near effective without Messi.

Spain is a different story, they play even more boring football that Barca and rely on the opposition getting bored and tired.

I watched Liverpool and without Dalglish they were not the same team and without John Barnes from 1987 to 1991 they were not the same without him. And you could go through teams all through out History that without a certain player the were not the same team. But they were still good teams even without that certain individual.
