Yes it does take into account european matches, Vidic should have won it, or Nani, but Nasri, Tevez etc have all had their form dropped recently, bales had the occasional game where hes been quiet but theres no doubting what h es done for us this season has been superb. dont think he shouldve won it, but hes more deserving than parker or adam.

Didn't seem to bother Sergio Ramos too much.
He was our only offensive player who bothered Real Madrid, Ramos looked scared of him at times but had backup from Xabi Alonso most of the times Bale ran forward.

I admit Bale's a brilliant player and got many great years ahead of him but I think Vidic has been immense all season and he should be in the number 1 or 2 spot. It's ridiculous he wasn't in the Top 3 for a start.

we were greatly outmatched obviously and barely had the ball, just because he is good doesn't make him a 1 man team. First leg we had 10 guys and Bale created what few chances we did have and a few times Ramos had to make last ditch tackles on him.

Pretty much. British players are hyped up quite a lot but I can't remember anyone being this bad.
I remember people comparing Rooney to Messi which was hilarious but at least Rooney is a top class player...when people compare Bale to Messi/Ronaldo I don't know how to react.

Tbh, second leg in the CL game, Ramos struggled at times. They started to double up on him, and Ramos even took him out when going for a header.
