    Andy Gray finished his playing career at Cheltenham
    Cheltenham were the 1st team in League 1 history to complete the double over Leeds United.
    Cheltenham are one of only two clubs in the football league without a red card this season. (Other being Hartlepool).

    I looked up your story, and it is different, but don't hosts not technically qualify (France '98)?

    I guess it depends on the eyes looking at it. Hosts are pre-qualified, which is the reason I didn't count them. That being said, I did write without qualifying, which I guess was my mistake. I should have written something like "without having qualified for it".
