This is the place to gather strange trivia about football. An example of this could be:

    - The only team to have won a big international tournament without qualifying is Denmark (EURO 1992)

For Chelsea, David Luiz (Centre-back) has scored more goals than Torres (Striker) in less games.

Dont no if this is so strange but Liverpool never lost a game in which Ian.Rush scored in for his first 6 season's at Liverpool from 81 to 87 and he did score in a lot of games in that period. Football trivia 207657

Best player in the world. And Spurs are the best football side in the world, with 'Arry being the best manager ever.

    Triffic team.

The longest ever clash in the FA Cup proper took place in the 1954/55 season between Stoke City and Bury. The teams met at Gigg Lane in a 3rd Round tie on 8th January and played out a 1-1 draw. The replay at the Victoria Ground four days later also finished 1-1 after going into extra-time (the game was actually abandoned 22 minutes into extra-time). A second replay was scheduled for Goodison Park on 17th January where the teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, again after extra-time. The fourth encounter came just two days later when the teams met at Anfield. They still couldn't be parted after 120 minutes though and the match finished 2-2. The fifth and deciding match took place at Old Trafford on 24th January with Stoke finally winning 3-2. Incredibly Stoke's winning goal in the final game was scored in the LAST MINUTE of extra-time just as everybody was preparing for a sixth game! The tie lasted an incredible 9 hours and 22 minutes and remains another record that should stand forever!

Of Leeds' 19 away games this year, 11 of them have been the home teams biggest attendance.

In the Championship, 20th placed Coventry have had 27 more shots than league leaders QPR.

If Premier League matches ended at half-time, Blackburn would be 4th in the league.

Since Chelsea lost to Inter last season, English sides are unbeaten in 17 CL home games, scoring 43 goals & conceding 13

Man Utd have only failed to win two of last 36 PL games that Wayne Rooney has scored in; both away to Chelsea

Chelsea have been defeated just once in their 25 Champions League home games since 2006/07

Chelsea have scored seven goals in the opening 30 minutes of Champions League games so far this season

    Useless facts really shifty

    - In the 05/06 season it was, by the beginning of the season, (theoretically) possible for a Danish team to win 6 titles (supercup, league, cup, league cup, scandinavian championship and european tournament)

Pretty vague fact, but I remember with a few games left last year if the results fell the right way City and Spurs could have been exactly level for 4th (including head to head or whatever else they factor in), which would have resulted in a playoff for the 4th spot at a neutral venue.
