Ok, next time you have a chance talk about Cheltenham having the best disciplinary record in the football league and our remarkable run to the Gloucester senior cup final where we will play Yate Town.

He was hurrendous when he played for us!
TBF to him he seems to have got better though. Macclesfield fans rate him.

not bad a win on saturday will get at least 3500 against lincoln and if we beat them and chestefield wycombe could be the promotion game at home and about 7500 will turn up
maybe im just being too optimistic

Re: league 1 + 2= best leagues in the world!
I was in Cheltenham last night and they have loads of sex shops
There is no VP Lounge at Wellington, its 2 stands which hold like 50 people in each
I heard it might be a 2 year not the normal one
Radford11 wrote:Alastairhufc wrote:Radford11 wrote:Alastairhufc wrote:Radford11 wrote:Just back in, alastair i love you
Just got in after a weekend of Duke Of Edinburgh's in the Black Mountains (including sliding 600m down a steep cliff instead of walking 2 km on a footpath) and I have just seen our foals from yesterday
If we keep this squad together then we could get promotions next season
Steady on mate, let's see out this season first
Dan Connor will be back next season after his hip injury. Dan Connor > Bartlett so we will have a more reliable goalkeeper. Ryan Valentine is back next season after his abdonimal injury, we know he's a good left back for League 2 so that strengthens us too.
At this level it's all about having a strong spine to the team. This means we need to get rid of Townsend and Kovacs and sign up Stam ASAP. I would suggest re-signing Dean Beckwith from Northampton Town, he was amazing in our promotion season with Wolves chasing him but he has lost his way abit and we always have the knack of bringing players back to form (Pugh, Ainsworth, John Eustace etc.)
The middle of the park is our strong point with Featherstone, Mcquilkin and Lunt. All are capable of playing in League 1 with Lunt and Featherstone already having played above League 2 shows this.
Up front we need to make sure we keep Fleetwood, 17 goals now for a team which is sitting at the wrong end of the table is fabulous.
Looking at the squad we need to release the following; Kovacs, Townsend, Stratford, Canham, Connor, Gwynne, Baheng, Patulea and Heister.
Therefore we should keep or look to sign from parent club; Connor, Bartlett (sub), Green, Valentine, Rose (squad player/versatile), Fleetwood, Mcquilkin, Lunt, Colbeck, Featherstone, Weir (cheap/prospect), Thomas (cheap/prospect), Stam, Leslie, Purdie.
Leaving us with 2 Goalkeepers, 3 defenders, 6 midfielders, 1 striker + 2 youth prospects.
We could keep on using the fruitful4-5-1.
Fleetwood
Leslie - Mcquilkin - Lunt - Featherstone - Colbeck
Valentine - Stam - New Signing - Green
Connor
Subs: Bartlett, Purdie, Rose, Weir, Thomas.
Need to strengthen with 2/3 new strikers, 1 new midfielder, 2 new centre backs + a covering wingback who can slot in at LB/RB. Making the squad size at 22 leaving Pitman and co to find other decent players.
Remember we have the Manset transfer money to spend (~300k). We need to look into Chris Mcphee from Kidderminster, he is a good CAM who chips in with goals. Would be very useful in the 4-5-1 system supporting Fleetwood upfront and should be available at around 80k imo.
Use Russel Hoult and Dave Kevan's link to higher placed clubs to get a couple of season long loans for defence.
Not too many changes to the starting 11 but if the League table restarted since we had Pitman in charge then we would be sitting just on the verge of the playoffs.
Any ideas Alastair?
Sounds good, would be nice to have Smith back as well but its unlikely I am afraid
Maybe get Leslie permanently as well...CTFC~ced wrote:Also, Cheltenham are now in the Gloucester senior cup final after a 4-0 away win at Bristol Rovers .
You have to qualify, Hereford automatically qualify then play the winners of all the shity teams...
I went to see my village side in the final the other year, one of 5 Hereford fans Thats how shit it is... We won 8-0 anyway
Yeah Smith will be too happy at Crawley.
The HFA cup final? Have to pay a quid at main office and you go in via the VP Lounge

Radford11 wrote:We have opened negociations to extend Jamie Pitman's manager contract; great news for the fans, the club and the man himself. The player's morale has increased ten-fold since Davey departed after those terrible first 10 games and we have now offered 5 players new contracts, hope they accept because we are beginning to look a decent outfit. 10th in the League since Pitman took over proves this
I heard it might be a 2 year not the normal one
Radford11 wrote:Hereford United have been handed "Performance of the Week" for our performance over run-away leaders Chesterfield. Final score was 3-0 with Fleetwood adding another one to his tally and 2 goal of the season contenders with Steve Leslie crashing home a left foot 30 yard screamer and Joe Colbeck running from the half way line to smash it into the far corner of the net from the corner of the box.
We also kept a cleansheet against Chesterfield, becoming one of only a handful of clubs to achieve this so far in League 2.
Adam Bartlett has looked like a different goalkeeper in the last couple of weeks keeping 2 impressive cleansheets against promotion contenders Wycombe Wanderers and Chesterfield.
Let's hope he has dropped his clangers out of his game

HFA Final is usually at Edgar Street
Rotherham away, fuck going there would rather save for Morecambe and Macclesfield away.#
View from the "away end"
I went to Millmoor and it was 10 times the place DVS is, pity they couldn't afford to stay there.
