Love Tranmere's away end, was in there a couple of years watching us draw 2-2 in the FA Cup. Was a crazy game where all 4 goals were scored within 12mins of each other or something like that

I know that there are calls on here (and other mediums) to make some kind of official statement regarding the future of Alan Knill, we clearly did this last week - click here

Subsequently Alan gave an interview, which I agree gave out mixed messages (although not as bad as many make out), and then the press, mixed with bookies, and apparently those ‘in the know’ at Scunthorpe, have all added to it with the result that apparently Alan is about to sign for them. If this is the case then it is news to me, our Chairman, and the rest of the board of Bury FC!

Alan is ambitious, and surely we want that in our manager, players, and throughout the club in general.

Bury FC is no different to any club in that it will not stand in the way of anyone that does not want to be here, but that simply is not the case with Alan. As he has said (even during the interview with BBC Manchester) there is a job to finish off here and I fully expect him to lead us to glory in the final eight games of the season.

People say that there is not any loyalty left in football these days, well if supporters only but knew just how loyal Alan actually has been during this season they would not be putting comments on here that are in the main based on rumors and innuendos.

To achieve promotion in any normal circumstances is difficult enough, so please let’s just give ourselves the best chance possible and concentrate on the job that Alan and the team have at hand.

TOGETHER we can pull it off, get behind Alan and the lads and let’s show everyone that Bury FC are a great club, with a great manager, great players, and most importantly amazing LOYAL supporters!

POSH have turned down a bid from League Two side Gillingham to take
winger Chris Whelpdale on loan for a second time this season.

He was top quality in league 2.

Bury Football Club can confirm that there has now been contact from another club wishing to take Alan Knill as their manager.

As of 13:40 on Wednesday 30 March, there have been no further developments since contact was made earlier today.

We will update all supporters of any further developments once we have further news.
