It's a shame about Estrada, easily the best right back in Mexico. Pretty sure he only played for Mexico once(like actually got on the field) against Venezuela. He's 27 now so maybe he might still get a call up someday.

This game has been pretty boring for anyone who is not a Santos fan.

    Tecos Toluca was better.

I want the Cepillo hat trick. He should of started ahead of Marquez Lugo in Copa America, not that it would of made much of a difference but he's the better player when it comes to playing that loan striker role. Primera División de México - Page 4 881856

Good is in his name. smug

Yeah, but he's okay I guess, he wasn't my favorite at the World Cup.

My cousin looks like a cunt now. I mentioned that Peralta was a good player he said that he was shit, that he's not fast, not tall, not strong and that he's a tronko to boot. That Esqueda is twice the player.

Peralta just scored what Esqueda will probably score all season. Laughing

Surprised at how bad Pachuca looks. They need Calero off the bench.

now to see if Tijuana has what it takes to stay in first division. They went out and got key players, but I think they needed one more defender to help out Gandolfi. They will only get better when Arevalo comes back from Copa America.

Yeah the guides lied. I thought it was at 5, but came home and was on. Primera División de México - Page 4 1371890812.

Chucho two goals in his debut. Very Happy. Once Reyna comes back and vuoso gets benched, our attack will be crazy, at least i hope. Primera División de México - Page 4 688105

Guide doesn't even get updated here >_>

Benitez was great. Two goals in his Debut, enough for the win Very Happy ^ Still needs Reyna and Aguilar. It's shaping up pretty well. Navarrete made a pretty good save in the end just unlucky for it to fall right to Queretaro ST. He's solid.

Even though we didn't play all that great, glad Benitez started off strong. We also need Reyes too. So once all three are back it should be complete. Smile

Technically it might be one goal, I've seen a few sites saying it's two goals for Benitez and others saying it's one goal for Benitez and an own goal for Cortes.

I was discussing this with my cousin, he was saying it was a Benitez goal and I was arguing it was an own goal.

For what it's worth Telivisa's top scorer chart has Benitez with one goal. (that's what changed my cousins mind, knowing them they are probably wrong. Laughing)

Really though they only person who knows for sure is the ref, regardless of how correct or incorrect he is, his decision is final.

Okay after further investigation, Benitez was credited with only one goal.

Yeah the ref confirmed it as own goal. Benitez said he was 'loco'.

I've seen these types of goals many times, they always give the goal to the shooter if it bounces off an opposing player. scratch

I think it's because Cortes kicked it in with his right foot and it didn't have that much pace on it, Liborio was surely going to stop it. It would of been a pretty easy stop.

That's what I was arguing anyhow.

Liborio would have had a comfortable save if it weren't for the defender, but even so they usually give the forward the goal as long as the shot was on target. He wouldn't have scored, but he should have been given the goal.

It really is. A real lazy ass 2nd half. I still don't know what Shaggy Martinez is doing there. They just hoped Benitez or Vicente would do something.

A lot of people see that as a joke, but Esqueda is better than Chicharito skill wise. People don't realize that Chicharito isn't all that talented. But he works really hard, which is just as important.

Man, Kalavera robbed Benitez twice in the 2nd half. Should have won that.
