If we lose against Bolton (Which is likely, because they are so much better than Wolves) then how can Hodgson possibly stay any longer? He just can't.

Bolton are far better then Liverpool at the moment. I think a draw would be a decent result for Liverpool.

How good would it be if Anfield shouted Fuck off Roy in complete synchronisation. Not singing it. Literally shouting it at the same time.

Wouldn't be surprised if we lost 2-0

Him + Joe Cole looked the most lively out of anyone. Babel came on and caused more problems for Wolves in 15 minutes that Torres and N'Gog did in 75 + 90.
Anyone see that brilliant little piece of skill by Cole in the middle of the park which got him past a player with ease? And you lot said he couldn't beat a man.
Fools. He was the only one who managed it, apart from Johnson perhaps.
Did you also see him give it away with stupid little flicks?
But that doesn't matter because he got past a Wolves striker. Wow.
That was only once.
I'm just saying that everyone on here was saying he can't beat a man, end of. You were all mocking me when I said we should bring Cole on, yet when he came on, he looked head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch.
He only got past someone once. And it was a striker.
He wasn't head and shoulders above anyone. He was like everyone else, stuck in a stupid formation that doesn't suit his abilities. Nobody shined last night and nobody has really shined all season.
But, on a positive, Lucas was impressive again last night, didn't do much wrong, defended and kept possession well. Seems to be one of the few shining lights in a currently dark period.
Well, you're the only person who thinks Cole didn't shine brighter than everyone else last night.
Which wasn't hard to do anyway.
Oh, my apologies if I have higher expectations than him getting past a Wolves striker with some flick (stupidly in his own half as well).
Like I said, I'm not blaming him, he should be better, but he won't be while we've got Roy.

He'll never get the point. He'll probably stand up and say "Thank you very much."
He thought the boo'ing was aimed at NGog when he was being subbed, he thought the boo'ing at the end was aimed at the team.. we'll have to start throwing letters at him .

When we lose at home, to a team at the bottom of the table, with the worst away record in the league I don't expect a win against the mighty Bolton.kyro7 wrote:You done them away from home.

4231?
It is insulting to suggest that because you move to a new club, your
methods suddenly don’t work when they’ve held you in good stead for 35
years and made you one of the most respected coaches in Europe

No, it's a 4-5-1. He's played it before, he can play it again.

Just looking at some old interviews.
Have a look at this.
"Agger's knocking on 30 years old"
"If there's one thing everyone in here will agree on, it's that Liverpool are not a long ball team"

Really? If Liverpool can't handle Stephen Ward, they're in for a beating from Elmander, with the form he's in at the moment.

Nearly in every single interview of Roys he's criticised something about the club ... whether it be the players or the fans.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Liverpool have all but concluded the signing of Rennes midfielder Sylvain Marveaux, with the player a guest in the directors' box for last night's 0-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Frenchman is capable of playing both on the left wing and at full back, but generally turns out in the former position - from where he scored ten goals in Ligue 1 last season.
Liverpool have longed for an outlet on the left hand side of their midfield for a very long time, and Marveaux's pace and ball control will be valuable assets for the Reds.
With his contract with Rennes ending in summer 2011, Liverpool have secured his signature for just £1.5m, but cannot expect immediate results.
Marveaux is currently out of action with a groin complaint that has troubled him intermittently recently, and Roy Hodgson will hope Liverpool's revamped medical team can manage it effectively.
