I agree with that. The other players too were protesting that when he slipped. The replay also shows it.

Yea he did slip but he also went in for a challenge from behind on a yellow like a moron.

It wouldn't have been a big deal if he had said it was unfortunate, but that vivid description of the scenery and his motives makes him look mad.
