What would be more humiliating for Liverpool, having to give a guard of honour to the guys who crushed their dreams last year or watching them secure the title against them?

    Neither.

But why do we have to give them a guard of honour?

edit: just read about it..WTF, i didn't even know that was a thing.

I know, it's ridiculous. I don't think it was something that was even done before Ferguson made us do it in 2005. Unfortunately it didn't have the desired effect as the next season they claimed the title by hammering us 3-0. The following year we played our reserves at Stamford Bridge and they reciprocated the 2006 gesture by applauding the likes of Dong Fangzhuo onto the pitch.

I'm not really sure who these are even for, our one at Arsenal a couple of years back our players looked thoroughly embarrassed to receive it, although not quite as uncomfortable as the Arsenal players applauding Van Persie onto the pitch. It seems like a completely unnecessary humiliation. If I was a manager or a player I'd refuse to participate in such a gesture.

The bottom of the league is really interesting. Burnley and QPR are probably dead, but the third spot is up for grabs. Villa, Newcastle, Hull, Leicester and Sunderland are all within 2 points of one another.

I reckon Sunderland are gonna go down from those.

Yeah, Sunderland's run in will probably do them in. Their match against Leicester is massive.

Shame that Liverpool gave up the chase for 4th. After the defeats to United and us and then seeing United beat City the following day they probably switched off for the season and then the FA Cup lose killed them. They should be above this shitty United team.

Mane hattrick in 2:56.  Beat Robbie Fowler's record that's stood for 21 years by a minute and a half.

Massive mawkish cry wank over Steven Gerrard at Anfield. Do these freaks not realise that he's leaving them to play for a different club for more money?

Such a ridiculous record, I don't know if it will be bettered in my lifetime.  It is probably the earliest hat-trick as well, no?

It's not like they tried to convince him to stay and he left for more money though. Both parties decided it's time to move on.

Well done to Arsenal on their third place finish. Only need one of our shit defenders to score past our reserve goalkeeper to secure it.

Neither can I, as long as it's not Valdes who is replacing him. We will sign another excellent goalkeeper, hopefully one not glued to his line for 89 minutes.

You have very low standards for "total domination".  I would say total domination would be slapping a team all over their own stadium in the Champions League, winning the title against them and finishing about 20 points clear of them, or beating your opponents home and away, including an 8 goal victory, and finishing 20 points clea.  3 games with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat and a single figure point difference in the table isn't domination at all. You've done marginally better than us this season, which can easily be explained by luck.
