I read in Soccernomics that at youth level blonde and ginger headed players have much better chance of getting picked up by clubs than their brown haired colleagues because they stand out more to scouts. The examples of Fellaini and Luiz seem to indicate that at senior level a bog brush head is the way to push up demand for your services even if you are totally shit at your job.
