Enriques pretty crap now too, he just doesn't play as often to show it.

Enrique is beast, especially when defending. Prone to the odd error, though.
Flanagan doesn't frustrate me, though. When he has the ball, he passes to a more capable player. Or, sometimes, he'll treat us to his specialty, which is to beat a man. Like this:
Whereas Johnson loses it, CONSTANTLY, every time he cuts in or attempts to dribble. Makes me want to smash my TV in.

Every time Johnson gets the ball, it's like, "oh, here we go, again".

Are you putting Sakho in the second tier based on potential? I don't think he's done enough to warrant being that much better than Agger.

He's our best defender and has impressed me a lot when played.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
You are blinded by hatred. Glen has an equal pass completion rate and only gives the ball away .2 more times a game. This is pretty poor, but I think that when you view Glen's offensive stats in comparison (.97 chances created per game compared with .57, 1 key pass per game compared with .6), you will see that he is making more adventurous passes. Glen also gets dribbled past much less frequently and has a higher tackle success rate. It seems that LFC fans are willing to look past Flanagan's shortcomings because he kicked Soldado and is white, but they seem to forget that Glen is still the better player, and Flanagan's potential ceiling is nowhere near Glen's when he is on form.Scott_LFC wrote:Every time Johnson gets the ball, it's like, "oh, here we go, again".

Glen has been off form, but I think he still has a lot to offer.

Johnson is shit. Probably the worse starting right back in the League.

How the fuck is Suso on par with Henderson?
I haven't seen Suso play much but I read an article about him when he was in Spain last season, he does stupid shit and seems to hog the ball. He has the odd flash of brilliance but does fuck all else. Low work ethic.
Henderson is a fucking god, he is our best midfielder.

Suso was playing for a relegation threatened team. He had to try and make things happen. Judge him on how he was for us in the 2012/13 season.
Henderson isn't our best midfielder. That title belongs to Coutinho, but Henderson is arguably the most important.

I'm sure he'll live. Rickie could just give him a weeks wages and that would equate to a year of his work.

If the father goes that far for a coffee, just think how far the son will go to put one in the back of the net. Could be a great signing.Keyser Söze wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2655053/Rickie-Lamberts-dad-sacked-warehouse-job-Matalan-breaking-vending-machine-glass-trying-1-coffee.html

Perhaps. Although I wouldn't say his signing is Champions League dependent.

He's keen. I don't think it's solely dependent. Can you honestly say Lovern would have turned you down had you finished 5th?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
@Scott: I was being kind of sarcastic, Lovren would probably be willing to move to Tottenham. He clearly just wants a step up & also mentioned some unhappiness with the managerial changes.
Tbh honest, our signings/players we're linked to have been really underwhelming. Even the best players are just rejects from better teams. Then again, I don't think we've ever been able to compete with the top 10 (maybe even top 20 right now) teams in the world, so we've just got to go for disgruntled talents like Coutinho/Shaqiri and hope that they come out of their shell under BRodge, who does seem to be a good man-manager.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I think Liverpool in reputation alone are still an appealing enough club to attract players like Can/Lovern/Lallana without CL football.
