We have Fabianksi leaving anyway, so we will need to replace him otherwise we will only have Damian Martinez as back up.

Okay we sign Cesc and play him behind the striker, what do we do with £40M man Ozil? Brb £150k a week sat on the bench. Ozil > Cesc if we had a quick striker who made runs in behind defences.Keyser Söze wrote:Novi wrote:He'll have to fight for his place again.
With who? Ozil?
I'd be surprised if he didn't win that fight easily.

You'd fit in great with the Arsenal fans over at EA.
Ozil has looked totally disinterested this season. If the only way he can perform is by relying on others then we can make do without the sack of shit.
When asked about the clause, Vela said: "It changes a lot."
And Vela went onto insist it would not be very 'intelligent' if Arsenal failed to sign him.
"During the last two summers, Arsenal were not interested in activating it, so we had no trouble," he said.
"It makes sense they will activate the clause now. A club that sees that a player is performing well for three years and has the chance of having him back for just an extra million.
"If Arsenal wouldn't pay that amount they wouldn't be very intelligent. If we put ourselves in their position we will do the same.
"Now, we have to analyse what can be done and how it can be done. And after putting everything in order, we will make a decision about my future; trying to choose the best way to be happy."
He added: "Arsenal gave me the opportunity to come to Europe when I was 17. I didn't have as many opportunities as I expected and I had to try new chances.
"If I have to return to London, I will try to make things in a different way in order so that happened in the past won't be repeated again.
"Now I speak English. I know what I would find there and what I won't, so I could handle my return in a different way.
"But today, I don't know if I am going to return or not, we will see, it's a matter of time."
Vela, who has previously spent time on-loan at Osasuna and West Brom, is rated at £25m by Sociedad with a host of European clubs interested in securing his signature.
But Vela is well aware Arsenal hold all cards when it comes to his future.
"The happiness that I feel in San Sebastian will play an important role in my decision. I seek the best, not only for me but also for Arsenal," Vela told El Diario Vasco.
"The Gunners are the owners of my rights. It's a decision that must be taken with plenty of calm.
"Regarding a future deal, there are three parts and if they don't reach an agreement, there will be problems and it will be difficult to solve.
"We have to find a solution that convinces the three part of this negotiation.
"Obviously, the opinion of the player is always important, because if I am not happy in a new destination it will be difficult to perform well."
Vela is not really a winger, more an inside forward. He occupies central positions quite often and he cuts in with the ball (like Robben, not like a Cavani). The only true weakness that I think he has in his game is his onefootedness. Reminds me a lot of Robben; he avoids using it but not in a moronic way like Antonio Valencia does. For example, here are some awful uses of his right foot when striking the ball:Novi wrote:I've always seen Vela as a winger personally. Wouldn't say no to him playing up front though. His finishing is class from what I can remember, I imagine its only gotten better.
He is certainly right in saying that we would be stupid not to sign him.
