    Arsenal's last 6 games:

    Southampton 2-2 Arsenal
Arsenal 2-0 C. Palace (easy game)
    Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal
Arsenal 0-0 Man United (David Moyes' Man United, lol)
Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool (Thanks to Webb)
    Arsenal 0-2 Bayern Munich.

    Oh dear.

Only one more game (Sunderland) before you face Stoke away, Everton home, Bayern Munich away, Spurs away, Chelsea away, Man City home and Everton away, all consecutively.

It's going to be beautiful rofl

    Meltdown for Arsenal fans incoming.

You're expected to finish above us, so if you do, it's not really a laughing matter for Arsenal fans. However, if you finish below us, that's a laughing matter for us.

Would be a strange thing to laugh at. Like me laughing at finishing above Southampton.

brb says Arsenal and Liverpool are close
brb to prove a point compares gap in quality between Arsenal and Liverpool to that of Liverpool and Southampton
    brb

So which is it?  scratch Are Arsenal and Liverpool close in quality or is the gap comparable to that of a club that was in League 1 three seasons ago?

I was speaking/looking at it from an Arsenal fan's perspective. You probably view us like we view Southampton. Thought that would be obvious.  Neutral

    But then again, it's you.

    No you didn't. You said:

Are you mentally challenged? You can't just quote part of what I said to make it suit your argument. Quote the whole thing, then it becomes clear that I am speaking from an Arsenal fan's perspective.

"You're expected to finish above us, so if you do, it's not really a laughing matter for Arsenal fans"

So, from an Arsenal fan's perspective, you're expected to finish above us and thus, it's not a laughing matter for you to do so.

That's not very hard to decipher.

If I was speaking from my perspective, I wouldn't have used Southampton. I used Southampton, because I feel that how we view Southampton is comparable how you view Liverpool. If I were to use an actual realistic comparison, I would have said it'd be like Chelsea fans laughing at finishing above Arsenal.

    Try harder.

Adding that part makes no difference, you retard  rofl  You said "you're" that's the key part of the sentence.

Saying "You're expected to finish above us, so if you do, it's not really a laughing matter for Arsenal fans"

Means people/pundits/other fans expected us to finish above Liverpool so we shouldn't laugh when we do.

Saying "You expected to finish above us, so if you do, it's not really a laughing matter for Arsenal fans"

Means Arsenal fans/Arsenal football club expected to finish above Liverpool so we shouldn't laugh when we do.

The who's laughing part is irrelevant, it's about who placed that expectation on Arsenal.

Since you used the 1st one you're saying people/pundits/other fans view the gap in quality between Arsenal and Liverpool to that of Liverpool and Southampton.

If you're going to clutch at straws at least do it properly.

*Sigh* You're really desperate, aren't you?

At the end of the day, I'm the one who said it, so I know exactly what context/perspective I said it in. Just because you interpreted it wrongly, that doesn't suddenly mean that's how I meant for it to come across.

I do think you are expected to finish above us, by everyone, anyway.

But that's not what I was saying, and like I said, if that WAS the intention, then I wouldn't have used the Southampton comparison, because that comparison only works if I was speaking from an Arsenal fan's perspective.

    About what?

On a side note, Liverpool have become great since you stopped supporting us. Coincidence? I think not. Coventry have also turned to shit since you started supporting them.  Very Happy
