Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Put my DoF in charge of loaning youth players, whenever an offer comes in it appears and the top, only way of getting rid of it is to accept/reject the offer. But it won't let me accept it, only reject it. So it just stays there for ages. What should I do?

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
I really want James Ward-Prowse and it appears his development has stalled at Southampton, perhaps they will accept a lower bid for him
also has anybody had any experience with Jack Butland?

This may go down as the greatest Transfer Coup in the history of Football Manager 2013

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
It's automatically accepted. But you can over ride the decision if you feel the negotiated offer between them and your DoF doesn't suit you. Eventually the player will go on loan.El Jefe wrote:Put my DoF in charge of loaning youth players, whenever an offer comes in it appears and the top, only way of getting rid of it is to accept/reject the offer. The team talks are fucking messed up! Fuck this shit, can't play a game were everything you say fucks up their confidence.
EDIT: I'm using the exact same tactics as I did on the demo, instead of being 1st I'm 10th, what the fuck?

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Arsenal are running away with the title, they are currently 4 points clear with two games in hand over 2nd place Tottenham
Tottenham have played 33 games they are on 67 points
Chelsea are in 3rd and have played 32 games and they are on 65 points
QPR (me) are 4th and have played 33 games and I'm on 65 points
Man United are 5th on 63 points after 32 games and Man City are 6th with 63 points after 32 games as well
I've spent majority of the season fighting with Arsenal for first place
and now I'm in danger of getting knocked out of the Top 4

his development at Southampton has stalled, so I put in a cheeky £1M bid and bang they accepted and I got him on small wages too

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
So I've got this regen who I signed from Blackburn for £16M (it's all in add ons) and he scored his first professional goal in his last game so I decided to give him another start
he's only gone and scored a hat-trick against Swansea and relegated them in the process
surely at the age of 16 he is the youngest Premier League player to score a hat-trick?

I think my players might switch off because they don't respect me due to having no experience.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Yeah I really struggled in my first save at United when I left the past experience at "automatic".
This current one I set it at club level. I was so surprised when I was offered a new deal at the end of the season. Finished 3rd (miles off City at the top), Madrid knocked me out of the CL in the 2nd round, lost in the FA Cup 5th round, but won the Capital One Cup.

So, is there a free cracked FM13 or do I have to pay for it? If I do have to pay for it, any ideas on where I can find it for cheap?

My striker just got injured for 3 months, put De Jong up front for the game against Dortmund.
Scores a hat-trick
Gets injured
3 months out

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
This game is fucking ridiculous.
Beat Dortmund 4-1.
Next game, FC Groningen at home, same tactics.
Lose 5-1.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
just stuck 11 players in reserves after losing 0-3 to West Ham. my worse loss of the season, my most humiliating loss of the season
XI: Robinson, Dann, Givet, Cotton, Pedersen, Diskerud, Mauricio, Formica, Vukcevic, Chadli, Rhodes. all demoted to reserves after the match
my next fixtures after this will be Newcastle, Chelsea, and City, with only 2 days rest in between each match. and i can't even get a point from West Ham

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Into the transfer window in my second season with Oxford City and I have noticed some cracking regens in the Welsh premier league. I've signed 8 of them up, all under the age of 19 and they look good enough for league one level already.
