Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Yeah, I've played him out wide and behind the front man a lot, that's why he's not been scoring. I've got him up front as I'm resting van Persie, 3-0 up at half time v QPR.Schnix wrote:Danny wrote:

Mike Phelan's a bellend. I've just ended a run of at least 5 games without a win by beating QPR 5-1 and he's telling me to not say anything specific to the team.

Henriquez nets his first goal at home to Crystal Palace, sweet.
EDIT: Now it's a brace and an assist in 14 minutes.

Felt bad when it was 5-0 after 20 minutes so set my tactic to defensive.

Thanks but I just found this guy http://gyazo.com/2c8aaa9b9a8426c64ba8fda5623b0219.
Would he be any good? I can afford his cheap wages, but I don't know the specific stats that a head of youth development should excel in. I'm guessing judging player potential/ability?

Honestly, Kagawa is my most reliable player by far, can't remember him getting a chance and missing it, just went in down the right from a Rooney pass in the 84th minute or something and I just knew he's smash it in.
Won the game for me.

Hahaha, Kroos returned from his 2-3 month injury and is now out for 4-5 weeks, not sure if Hargreaves.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
I'm currently Rangers, top of the League with maximum points after 8 games. As I should be.
I drew Celtic at home in the League Cup 3rd round but lost 1-2 which I was gutted, played quite well.
Shields is brilliant.

Get a good DoF in to control your transfers, I got Tom Vernon for first two seasons as a cheap one but if Nicky Hammond of Reading is available, go for him.
Keep your core of Lambert, Lallana, Cork, Schneiderlin, Ramirez and Fonte for AT LEAST the first two seasons.
Ward-Prowse and Shaw in the reserves, W-P is starting for me now in season 3 after selling Schneiderlin.
Don't buy Zaha btw, I did and i've wasted him, not been effective off the bench. If he's on your game, an attacking midfielder you can get cheap is Borek Dockal. Can play CM, AMR/AMC/AML, 17/20 finishing

Should be alright for DoF, I'm touchy when it comes to that.
Just checked out those players stats, especially Ramirez and they look BRILLIANT, key players, I think I can challenge top 12. I will follow the advice and put those in the reserves.
I will look into Dockla after I get information from shit loads of English youngsters I've signed.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Not too shabby, ended up 8th with Stoke. Would have been higher if it wasn't for the fact that Shawcross and Crouch were injured most of the season...
