The 2nd goal was welbecks work.

Also Giggs showed again why he can't play in the middle.
Nani played the pass to Giggs.

    Yes.

If you can't see that Welbeck did the work to create the chance then theres nothing else I can say.

It wasn't all Welbeck's work. It took four guys to score that goal: Welbeck worked hard to win possession back, got it to Evra, Evra picked out Nani, and Nani made a lovely little pass through to Giggs who made an intelligent run and difficult finish.

So basically Welbeck didn't do a hell of a lot to actually create the goal, and 20Legend doesn't give the guy who actually played the final pass any credit. What a fucking surprise.

    Exactly what I'm saying.
Main work was done by Welbeck, Lovely pass from Nani though.

I was just acknowledging the good work by Welbeck as yous weren't.

You said it was Welbeck's work as if that that was the only thing that mattered. But there was obviously a lot more to it than that. Each guy's play on that goal was a "but for" cause of the goal (i.e. if you take any one guy's move/play out of the combination, the goal wouldn't have happened). And in fact, Welbeck's was the only part of the combination that didn't require brains. It was just plain ole football common sense, go run after the ball and get it back. Which isn't to take anything away from it; it was still instrumental. But every other guy on that play had to use his brains, foresight and creativity to make it happen.

Confirmed lineup (MUTV): de Gea; Smalling, Vidic, Evans, Evra; Valencia, Anderson, Carrick, Kagawa; Rooney, RvP

Resting players for Madrid? Don't think so.

Except for the part where it wasn't really like De Jong's at all...

Looked pretty comfortable with 11 on the pitch, Madrid not really creating a lot. Nani's red changed that, Modric/Alonso had too much space (Giggs or Welbeck is on Modric for both goals, no doubt, if we had 11 men on). Still created the better/more chances even with 10 men, if you want to be proud of anything.
