Nani probably deserves to start but don't think he the right choice as he isn't that hard working compared to Valencia.

Since going to Wigan on loan, Henriquez has played a grand total of 2 league games (5 in total), and scored once. He didn't come off the bench in the cup last week, and didn't today even tough they'd wrapped up the points a few minutes into the secon half. What is the point?

Still time for him to play a lot yet.


He's only 18 so not exactly going to be guaranteed a starting spot.

Obviously, but surely it's not too much to ask for Martinez to perhaps think "we've got the points/place in the next round in the bag, don't have to rest players for a game midweek, let's give the likes of Henriquez a go".

Especially when in his 2 league appearances (both of the bench I think) he's grabbed a goal. Instead he's watched their last 2 games sat on his arse twiddling his thumbs.

He's grabbed one coming off the bench i believe.


Choosing experience over inexperience is better at the moment, especially when they're not exactly safe right now.

Ah I see, as a Man U player he gets a divine right to a place in the side. They demolished Hudds easily without him and did the same to reading. I believe he got sent here by Man U and Martinez had no real choice in the matter. Glad to see he's snubbing the scummer.
