Normally I wouldn't be too happy about a college guy getting called in (which might not have happened since 1991 or 1992), but Jordan Morris should be with Seattle already, so that's not a huge deal for me anyway. Heard that Shawn Parker might have been called in, so that's just about the only other person I would have liked to have seen get the call as well. 

Wonder if Hyndman will get play, I've been hearing about him for a long time.

Also I have no idea who the second central midfielder is in that team, is it Mix and Coronoa?

Alfredo Morales and Geoff Cameron are the only defensive midfielders in the side. Cameron is hurt though, and I Morales plays in 2. Bundesliga. Not sure who JK sticks in there.

That Nguyen seems to be on a streak for New England

Yeah, he might get a look in the October friendlies. If not, maybe the one in January. He actually appeared three times in 2007 when we played at the Copa America. But he was in the wilderness for his club career for quite some time (ended up playing in Vietnam, who he is still eligible to play for), but he's really come about since he returned to New England, especially this year. 

Rowe is another one from New England he could get a look from JK, but he hasn't played enough due to injury and form to really warrant that in the October friendlies.

EDIT: Just saw that Nguyen, Rowe, and Bunbury scored for New England today as well.

How come Aron Johansson isnt in the squad any more, is this a purely experimental squad or has he lost his place?

He's injured. He was injured before the World Cup, went there injured, and then decided to have surgery (or it was decided then that he had to have it) in the middle of July, I believe. Think it was his ankle. Not sure when he was due to come back, but I'd have to imagine that he would have been there otherwise.

Ah, totally forgot about this. He was only out for a bit for his ankle surgery, but then he need groin surgery, and wont be back until October at the earliest.

Guzan, Chandler, Orozco, Brooks, Johnson, Diskerud, Bedoya, Corona, Gyau, Green, Altidore.

I know you sub a million players in these things but I wanted that midfield 3 to go 70 minutes.

They were pretty good in the first half. Second half has kind of been disastrous for USA, but there are a bunch of people who aren't accustomed to playing with the national team and each other out there now.

Then of course there is Brek Shea.

I think the lesson here is, unless you're Geoff Cameron, don't go to Stoke.

And even Geoff Cameron is trying to get out of there.

He had some suitors in England, Germany, and Italy but apparently Stoke wanted too much for him.
