Hainault should have been sent off. But losing Pontius, Saragosa, and McDonald killed us in this game.

It was depressing to watch the game taken away from you because of such uncontrollable circumstances

Yup. If those guys get healthy before Sunday, I think we will have a chance. 2-0 isn't impossible. But without Pontius, I think we won't stand much of a chance.

Really didn't expect both ties to be pretty much determined after the first legs. Think United and Seattle can make a game out of it next weekend, but it looks like we are set for a rematch of last year's final. Ugh.

Joe Gyau, Timmy Chandler (who says he is committed to the US now) Jozy Altidore, Mix Diskerud, Josh Gatt and Juan Agudelo all called up for Russia friendly.

Not a bad squad for finding some new pieces, but not sure what Agudelo did to deserve the call.

Boyd? He's got like six goals this season since the beginning of August. Agudelo was injured all season and scored like two or three goals since March.

Yeah, groce. I despise the Galaxy. I like both the Sounders and DC, would love to see that final. I'm pulling for both of you guys to make it happen with comebacks.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
As long as it's not the Gals or the New Jersey Soft Drinks, I'm not too concerned with who wins the MLS Cup.
I thought using "Pink Cows" as a disparaging name for the Red Bulls was kinda lame so used NJSD instead but, saying it out loud makes it sound not nearly as awesome or funny as I imagined. I apologize for the lameness I have subject you all to.
Although, in retrospect being named after a soft drink alone is probably bad enough.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
It's sad that most MLS teams have 2 or 3 players better than our best player. And and the same time have a free DP spot or two, while we have none.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
So we're playing Russia
Down 1-0 after a mixup by Williams/Altidore, not doing much offensively, lost Bocanegra to a hamstring strain.... 3 DMs in midfield once more, amazing.
