Scott Burns @ScottBurns75
I am told there is around £100k difference between the valuations of #hearts and #rangers for McGowan and Templeton. Could still happen.
It was closer than I heard.
Still won't happen.

What do you mean why aren't we paying it? That bid has only just been rejected.
The bid could be in by now or tomorrow morning, even if it's accepted ... I don't see it coming to fruition.
Edit: Ally has spoken to Templeton and he is apparently very keen on the move, my worry is that teams in bigger leagues get in ahead of us.

i mean if hearts have valued the pair at 1.3m why dont we just pay that instead of offering lower than there valued was the reason we lost out on goodwillie we cant value them that highly if we are not meeting the asking price

Yeah we really should stop fucking about like this, especially on the last day of the window.
We will end up with two journeymen from England and a crap loan from Newcastle.

We probably enquired, they told us to make them an offer and we did. Doubt we'd let it slip over 100k. All down to the players in the end though.

Ryan Stevenson, CAM and yes, I liked him at Hearts. Signed for Ipswich as Hearts weren't paying his wages. He'll be looking for a club on a fine financial footing, somebody with no debt.
Ding ding
Pretty sure he was having a medical at Motherwell though.

Also, just seeing now that you've agreed to pay Hearts the remaining Wallace fee for Templeton and McGowan. As if you have any fucking choice - for a club that is supposedly the same you sure do wash your hands of a lot of debts.

Re: Official Rangers FC Thread
There is one who used to play for Hearts and then went to Ipswich. He isn't that good though. He's kind of a midfielder/attacker.
Ipswich are wanting rid of him for free, if we end up signing him instead of Templeton or Larsson I'll be pissed off.

It's due next year we were offering to pay it this year.

Oh yeah, because Rangers always pay their debts. We all know there's been dispute over transfer money - how about you just pay it when you're meant to you bent cunts?

We'll pay it 1 year in advance if Hearts accept, nice to see the new holding company showing how it's done.

Because that is the payment schedule obviously.
It was 500k summer 11, 500k summer 12 and 500k next summer.

And you're perfectly on schedule aren't you? You paid your 500k this summer yet? If you're paying next summer's too that will be 1 million this summer. That's what you're offering them plus 1.2 million for both players? Or are you subtracting that from the transfer fee? Because why should paying debts be considered a formality when it's Rangers?

The SPL owe Hearts the money, they agreed to deduct it from our league winnings. Not our problem.

Look

The early repayment was a goodwill gesture essentially to try and ease the negotiation process.

It is understood Rangers bid was under £1m. As part of the negotiations, the Third Division side also agreed to pay immediately an outstanding £500,000 due in the summer of 2013 for the transfer of Lee Wallace.

So what's this about paying them 500k for Lee Wallace? As usual with Rangers the waters are very murky. Night night.
